Gears 2 was announced 8 months before release, Forza 3 4 months... 4 MONTHS BEFORE RELEASE.
Why bother doing this when they could be using the same resources to port Splinter Cell Conviction to the PS3? Seriously these "HD remasters" are a waste of time in my opinion.
Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell, Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Fable 3, all top games you haven't been able to play on your PS3 this year.
The PS3 had a great start to the year, but nothing much since. At least the 360 has delivered exclusives consistently throughout the year, alongside some great multiplatform and arcade titles.
@ cyborg
You're wrong on both accounts. It got very favourable reviews (80 metascore), and just because it's an exclusive doesn't mean it deserves a place on the list by default.
Almost sounds like an advert that's trying to shift copies of the game. I haven't played it so I can't give first hand experience of it, but when a game gets universally panned by critics, it's probably worth avoiding.
Call of Duty won't be popular forever mate.
It's games like Call of Duty that are carrying the industry at the moment, which is currently in the shit.
I think I'd rather have my game sell 20 million copies and be "far from proven" though.
How can it be "definitive" without being able to carry over your Mass Effect 1 save data?
Level design, storytelling devices, art style, these are just a few reasons why he should research this or any game for that matter.
I honestly believe Enslaved is a must-play. It's a short experience, but a memorable one at that.
He should play Black Ops, even if it's just for research. I for one have thoroughly enjoyed it.
This isn't a bad thing, if anything it shows how diverse the PS3 is in delivering entertainment.
I feel the same way about the 360, I spend about as much time watching Sky Player as I do playing games.
Or maybe an action/adventure game with RPG elements.
Definitely a game to keep a close eye on.
Is this statement implying that they were going to release Deus Ex in an unfinished state? Either that or it's entirely strategic, which sucks for us gamers if they're holding back a finished game.
Not wanting to spite the PS3 or anything, but I would expect a few PS3 exclusives to get delayed. Sony have a track record of not delivering their games on time.
That's like saying you could read up on any game or film, yeah you know what happens but it's nothing like experiencing it for yourself.
Funny how they put Perfect Dark Zero in there when they gave it 9/10.
I can't wait to see more XBLA hidden gems, like Limbo and Super Meat Boy this year.
Hybrid by 5th Cell looks interesting.
Type in GOW on google and see what comes up first.
