21-30? I don't even that that many 360 games!
MW2 map packs were a rip-off, the maps weren't even that good. I didn't even bother with the second map pack.
At least with Black Ops you're get four decent-looking maps and a zombie map. 1200mp is still too high considering you can buy full games for less, but at least it looks like they made an effort.
@DrRichtofen
It's until 2012, so it cover Black Ops and the next 2 COD games.
RTS games would be awesome on Kinect. It's just about getting people to adjust to such a different control scheme.
So it should be. Deus Ex took alot longer than that (for me).
It's not a very popular franchise in the UK. Plus it had no marketing.
Actually the Wii is the console of choice over here. The 360 is 2nd.
Why would having Gran Turismo make you not care about the graphical performance of other games?
@waltyftm
Not all games have the benefit of a 5 year development cycle.
As always the PS3 version looks a little brighter but otherwise no noticeable differences.
It's still worth reporting, considering that the 360 version which was released a year ago didn't require an installation.
"I've never played call of duty"
None of them?
The points you raise suggest you haven't played Conviction. Granted, MGS4 is a better game and one of the best of this gen, but Conviction is still a great game in it's own right. Great gameplay, great co-op, some cracking action sequences.
Also the fact that you sold it means that you'll miss out on the Ghost Recon Future Solider beta, gutted.
Kinda pointless playing MGS4 if you're gunna skip all the cutscenes though. It would be like watching a film that skips every 10 minutes or so.
Don't know if any of you bothered to read but it says: "these were a combination of both commercial and critical failures". This is why games like Alan Wake (meta 83, mediocre sales) and Gran Turismo 5 (meta 84, good sales) are exempt.
Can't believe that are dropping the whole comic book noire style in favour of... this.
Reminds me of NFS Underground. Not been on my radar until recently but I reckon that I will get this.
This is a major flaw of the PS3. I remember when I got mine back in 2007 and from switching the console on it took over an hour before I actually got to play a game (Resistance).
The PS3 has so many things going for it, but updates isn't one of them, especially when updates on the 360 take a matter of seconds.
Not really seen enough of it to decide whether it warrants a purchase, but it sounds like it is very story-oriented, which is definitely a positive in my book.
I can imagine the GTA crowd hating this game though for some reason.
Funny how people say how talented these guys are and then turn around and say Modern Warfare 2 sucks.
I can't see it, because then everyone with the map pack would have an unfair advantage over everyone else. The only way it could make sense would be a mandatory update for everyone.
