I have one of the original 60 GB, got it after the last price cut. Truth be told I have used BC once and then stopped. Found out I am too busy to play older games especially now with so many PS3 games coming out.

The games are region free but the blu ray movies are not. Get a system in your region so you can watch the movies also.
I got that they were Blu Ray only (thier own decision) and now have decided to HD-DVD also in addition to the Blu Ray.

This game is going to be badass. Already pre-ordered, just waiting for the days to go by now.
Plus as a reminder this is the PS3 first holiday in Europe as it was released this year. I expect it to take over the 360 by the end of this year or early next. Plus also expect PS3 to overtake Wii (sales not overall) in Japan as the lead has been less than 2:1 and that was before the price cut.
In NA, it will take as time as the 360 is insanely strong there but by 2009 who knows.
I say this because frankly from what my friends in europe are telling me, a lot of people are waiting for the PES-PS3 bundle so the sales should boost then also. Bundling PS3 with PES was a brilliant decision in my opnion as that game is the one of the best selling titles over there.
I saw it and was unimpressed especially since they are trying to position themselves as one of the top tier games. I know its kinda early in its development and still has ways to go but things need to be improved. Personally, I think the biggest flaws are the graphics (which they will improve most likely)and also the mechanics look really off.
Either way they definitely have ways to go before they can come close to the top offerings on the consoles.
I have heard that the 60 GB is smashing sales charts right now in the UK and Europe due to the sales and games that are coming with it. But again wondering how the 40 GB is doing. Probably won't know for little bit of time. But the software charts do show PS3 titles climbing.

I have a PS3 but at this point considering the sh*t job they have been doing with ports and what not I will be unsure even is Mass Effect eventually comes on PS3.
Plus Bioware is one of the finest RPG companies. I can't even imagine what EA will do to them. We all know innovation died at EA along time ago and I have a feeling they will have Bioware pumping games out so fast, we will learn a new meaning for crap games.
Marvel Vs. Capcom Exclusive To PS3
Unofficially sources are reporting it may hit anywhere from Oct 30 (Ratchet&Clank and Spidey 3 launch) to Early November. It was confirmed that Nov 11 will be the Japan cut/intro of the SKU though. So NA will be around there as well.
So far the 40 GB SKU has been done in UK, EU and Australia as of OCT 10-11 to my knowledge. May be wrong though.
Its based from the UK and are a pretty big retailer there. So the PS3 being the top console (#4 overall but the front three are software titles) is great news for the PS3.
Premium was never sold out at UK Amazon I think and this article is about the Amazon UK. Elite is actually sold out but Core and Premium are there in great numbers.

Also Resistance and other PS3 are rising due to the 60 GB PS3 selling like hotcakes which are being bundled in with couple of games also.

I think they will do what they did in EU. Bundle it with games and extra controllers. That should get sell all of them.
