I swear EA pumps out the same games year in and out. I am glad the people are finally catching on.
That fatass. If he can't stand criticism for giving a great game a bad review (not just the score but the actual horrible review) then he needs to look into a new line of work. I hope he is at least enjoying the money from MS.

An HD-DVD spokesperson saying this. Why I am not surprised? Most of my buddies have PS3 now (3 just went out today and got the 40 GB one) and they have BD accompanying them as well. I own 9 (5 came with ps3 so I am not connting that) blu rays. I may not buy them a lot but I still do whenever I see something that has my interest. I see my self and others picking Pirates, Die Hard, Simpsons, Spidey, Etc in the coming months.
Porn. The Porn industry got behind it. Blu Ray already has them through the burnable BDs. See the fact is that Blu Ray is a Format. Camcorders, Bd-burners, movies, games, its everywhere. It leads 4:1 in EU, 6:1 in PAL, 9:1 in Japan. I know movie lovers want movies, blah blah blah. The fact is blu ray is superior not necessarily because of more space or anything but because its a true format. Thats why many more studios, companies, etc are behind BD.

Totally agree. I come on here and read some of these comments. It seriously sounds like Blu Ray is being buried. Then I go to retail stores and see that hd-dvd is relegated to a small dark corner and blu ray is getting their shelves now. Just the other day at best buy, man, they almost have a whole row to themselves.
Plus I think its smoke and mirrors. They will drop the blu ray standalone but not by much. My guess would be around 300 or so. Just to keep it in competition pric...

Most best buys are out of this model. I think one has couple left. They are waiting for the 40 GB I think to come into stock.

I personally take out Blacksite and Hellgate. Replace them with Uncharted and Haze. CoD4 and Crysis should switch places I think.
