@HolyDuck
The only thing on this whole page that looks pretty sad is your avatar, and by the looks of it you will need all the laughs you can get. So if it turns out to be timed exclusive material and it really amuses you, maybe you can change your avatar into something more cheerful and put a smile on all our faces.
EDIT :D
What publisher wouldn't want to jump onto the exclusive PS4 ship, with already 1 million+ pre-orders(last month) and launching in 32 countries compared to MS's 13. I know if I was a publisher if I was asked to choose exclusivity on one console over the other which one I would pick. Even if MS were to offer more in terms of $$, your still gonna surpass it with sales of your product on the console that's selling almost 2:1
@Elite
"Common sense says the reason they didn't brag about actual specs early on is because they don't want Sony to counter their moves. They will wait till its too late for Sony to change anything."
But in the meantime, in the many months running up to the release of the two consoles, they allow Sony to run away with pre-orders, and changing even the minds of xb1 most loyal, don't you think as profit making organisation they would have played probably t...
Yep, it definitely looks like best of both worlds in this game. During the day you can do all your hacking & slashing with your new weapons, to get your hands on even more cool stuff. Only for it all to be left useless at night time, cause it seems it will turn into pure survival mode at night, which is great. They look like a very nasty mean bunch of mothers @night! lol
So in the Division we'll need to Watchdogs! mmm... I'm confused :p
Deffo, and what you can do is, get your 14 day free sub with PS+ when you get your PS4. Check out the DC free version on +, if you really like it purchase retail version, and grab yourself a 50% discount on one years PS+. :)
Gotta say, those red and blue DS4's look really cool
This is all I see when I read this headline... AGGR£$$IV£ ...
@Thamm
Believe me,I wish that was the case. I'm one of those who have already made up their mind which console I'm getting. But Sony cannot dictate to a developer and or a publisher how to produce their games. Sony will certify a game if it meets the criteria set down for every game that makes its way onto their system. This will be a standard criteria across the board for all developers/publishers to adhere to. Otherwise it would be one rule for me and another for you, which...
@wtopez
I think you need a Mark Cerney refresher course. The PS4 is in itself a supercharged PC and with the customized architecture thats gone into it, it will be competing with high end PC's for at least another four years. I think you are underestimating the power of this console. All you have to do is look at some of the recent reports from interviews with developers who are currently working on PS4 tech. They're equating it to high end pc's, and very surprised with ju...
Here's my theory on this. Things have been very quiet on the xb1/BF4 side of things. There has been little or no coverage of how the game performs on xb1. I feel that this is where the disparity lies between the two consoles. The xb1 being 40% less powerful than PS4 would more than likely have difficulties in attaining a 1080p/60fps resolution in BF4. To be honest I can't see the PS4 having the same problem.
We all know very well that EA and MS are working very close ...
That's just preparing us for future events!
And if you decide after seeing all the demo's and videos made available before the launch of the title that you deffo want the full retail version, you'll get 50% off PS+ for one year. Sweetens the deal even further.
All these, if bought seperately would cost approx 580 euro's, so yea that's deffo a very good deal.
@Elementx
Its the next thing MS have planned for their xbone!
Welcome to next gen people, this is what its all about! Their physics engine is gonna blow us all away. Man, this list is getting long, lol.
Azz-urite in'it!
This is great news to hear that developers will essentially have access to most of the PS4's 8 GB's of Ram. This makes more sense and fits into Sony's future proof plans for games being developed a few years down the line that will require much larger amounts of RAM than what's required now .
Sony were warned by top developers in the industry not to go with 4GB's of RAM, otherwise "you are done". They weren't going to roll with this advice on...
So you would eat Don Mattrick before you'd eat Phil Spencer! Hope you have a strong stomach my friend. Lol
Don't worry IW, there's plenty more fish in the sea! :p
