Console Wars!! PPPFFF!!

BRING ON THE V.R. WARS LOL

I think O.R. are aiming at a retail version of their V.R. headset to be in the region of 300 Euro. This would be a very attractive price. If Sony could do something similar with their own brand this would be ideal.

"At Gamescom, every game in the Xbox booth was running on final Xbox One hardware. Every. Single. One."
If that's the case BF4 looked pretty impressive.

@irishguy
I think the article was done more out of admiration for the old timer rather than a chance to mock him. There was more a spirit of fun to it with nice things said about the guy.

This game will evolve into a map the size of the world. It has the potential to run for years. GTA 5 will more than likely see its way onto next gen consoles. GTA online will definitely be there so as the game will be capable of running a map of this scale. What we see now is probably just the tip of the iceberg. Think about it, running on much more inferior machines with 256mb of ram @ present, and coming onto machines that are 10x more powerful, with 8000mb of ram. The possibilities hold no...

No wors m8, I didn't think you were coming across rude or arrogant at all, just inquisitive ;) no harm in that.

But yea it deffo sounds really cool, I love games like that, that are more psychological than all guns and explosions sort of stuff. I seen a vid couple weeks back of some reaction gamers had to a short demo of outlast, and it was hilarious. I mean they seemed genuinely freaked out by it. lol

Yea I have heard of it, but tbh I know very little about it, other than its on PC. I haven't got a PC so I never really looked into it. If it was coming to PS4 that would be cool, cause I heard it was very scary too. You've played it? Is it as good as outlast you think

I think the way forward on next gen isn't only interactivity, although it is important from a gameplay point, being able to interact with the environment in new and interesting ways. I think its fair to say we want fidelity and better graphics too.

I mean COD has always had great graphics, but everybody wants big and noticeable improvements on next gen. Thats why some gamers aren't too pleased with COD this year, because its not on the same par with other next gen ti...

Yea deffo a very good deal, with both of these games having a retail price of 60 euro each, it puts the xb1 within a very comparable price tag with PS4, approx 10 euro more. Not bad at all considering its Kinect inclusive.

This is deffo a game I'm lookin forward to. Its dripping with atmosphere and tension. Lovin the way you have no weapons, and the only way you can defend yourself is by running and hiding. Puts a new and different spin on survival horror.

Yes and not to forget if you don't get it before you pick up your ps4, you'll get your first 14 days free with your new ps4 anyway.

Not to take anything away from the xb360 controller, as I know many people like it, but I personally don't like it all. I had a ps3 for years, and I eventually got an xbox 360, but I wouldn't have got it if I couldn't have used my PS3 controller with it, through an XCM cross fire converter. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered tbh.

The simple reason for me being the position of the analogue sticks. I love the parallel position as your left thumb is in a much mo...

I think in this case I would have to reserve my judgement until a few more developers made the same opinions on their visions. Although I would really like to agree with Pete Hines. I mean the longer it takes the better. Who wants to see game development stop progressing and becoming stale after only 2 or 3 years. If we are still looking at enhancements after 6 years that will be one 400euro very well spent. Sorry my pc is so ancient it doesn't even have a Euro sign! lol

To hand it to IW, I really think they brought us into next-gen last gen with COD MW. It was the first shooter I played on PS3 since Medal of Honour Airborne, I think it was called. I must admit, I was blown away by what I saw, as I'd say were many others. It was definitely a defining moment in gaming for me, to experience such a leap in generations past and existing. By that I mean pre PS3 and current platforms. There wasn't another shooter, especially in a multiplayer experience that...
