I remember feeling excited when the PS3 console was first shawn. I didn't get that feeling when I saw the PS4 though. Maybe it's just me.
I seriously doubt it would be Demon's Souls. Wouldn't make sense especially with Dark Souls 2 coming out next year. Unless it is slated for holiday 2015 release. With Darks souls 1, time between announcemnet and release date was roughly 7 months if I recall correctly.
Why does anyone have to check in every 24? I though parole was abolished a long time ago. Guess MS didn't hear about it.
Looks good. But for a game on this scale with such immersion, I still would have preferred a 40hrs single player. Not all games need MP.
Maybe the ones who pre-ordered are the same people who were recorded for the clapping and cheering track played at the xbox one reveal.
After watching the trailers of Dragon Age I was expecting epic dragon fights. All I got was little lizards and horrible gameplay.
I think that MS want a shares of the tablets market and sees the future there, and not in hardcore gaming. With tablets you don't just sell games and apps but also you sell more hardware since their life cycles are alot shorter than those of consoles.
Probably some guy from MS will reveal a tattoo of timed exclusive content for GTA 5 on some part of his body.
With the xbox360, MS Intially sold the hard disk and HD DVD drives as accessorie and the price of the console itself was $400 if I recall correctly, giving the impression that it's cheaper than the PS3. They can't do that now with the xbox one especially after their slogans of everything you need in one box etc. Ad since the xbox one has both built in and adding the price for the kinect, my guess the price would not be less than $550, unless they decide to sell it at a loss hoping to ...
Yeah, bombarded with "EA. It's in the game" adds.
It seems alot of people are unhappy with xbox one reveal. I'm personally a Playstation fan, but I don't think all this anger will have any effect though. Xbox has become a household name. All it takes is one decent game that uses the smart glass, mobile phone and kinect features and all this rant will be water under the bridge.
I only play action adventure, RPG and very few FPS games. So my choice is limited and the number of decent games in these genres is small. That's why I really don't mind a yearly release of any game if the quality is not affected.
Personnally, I would love a yearly Demon/Dark souls, a GTA, or an AC game.
I agree with you on the fact that FROM can't please everyone, and since they have provided us with two great games that were truely refreshing this gen, they should be left to their own devices and let them do what they do best.
I think the publishers of multiplatform games such as Assassin's Creed 4 and Watch dogs would want to release their games on both consoles at the same time. If any of these games get delayed then rumours about the next xbox missing this holiday release are probably true.
Great stuff.
The only thing that bothered me was the blue lock-on circle. I thought the size and colour were off.
I just hope they don't miss the 2013 release.
I still don't get it. What happens if you are suddenly disconnected from the net while you're on single player? Can you complete your session offline like in Demon Soul's?
For me BC is not important. If I still feel attached to my PS3 games when the PS4 launches, then I guess I'm not ready for next gen and I'll keep my PS3. If I get the same (or better) wow factor that this gen had on me over the previous one then I'm definately getting the PS4. But for that to happen I need a clearer understanding of the direction the next gen is heading in terms of graphics, AI, TV specs needed, 3D ...etc. Hopefully in the next few months leading to the PS4 launch...
What I don't like about EA is that they don't come up with anything original. They see a game becoming popular and selling well, the next day they start developing a very similar game( with identical gameplay and controls) and advertising it as a much better game than the one they are copying. It's like if you open a pizza place and become successful, EA opens a pizza place next door and start bad mouthing your product to get your customers and at the end of the day have the nerve...
Yeah. I knew this was coming after introducing the ps plus. I only play online to get the trophies needed to platinum games that have 1 or 2 simple MP trophies. Well, so much for that.
