One thing I will mention, in Q4 2008, VGChartz were over a million out on their sales figures for the Wii. No adjustments - they wrote it off as sales from unreported markets. Educated guesses are closer than they are. Problem is, people take them as gospel.
They are good for US week one SW sales figures where they get access to early retail figures and Japan HW/SW figures where they see Famitsu/MC numbers.

Thats funny....since October we have seen nearly double the content on PSN as in the previous 10. Demos, full games, trailers, game add-ons have all markedly increased since this fee was brought in.
Like Joystiq commented, the fee is so small that it is often irrelevant - and waived or reduced in the vast majority of cases.

Good start for KZ2, although I wonder whether thats total or just in Europe. If its Europe, wow! US will be another 600-700k. We could be looking at 2 mill day one. If its total, that is still an enormous amount, only to improve when the ad campaign starts.
As a PS3 lover, I am actually hoping this one does well. I am seriously hoping that game developers actually get the controls right for RTS games without having to use K+M. I really hope Ensemble have got it right on this one. Plus Halo fans need an expanded storyline that a FPS can't give them.
Too all you lamers flaming the game - the console world needs better RTS. If this brings us a step closer to that - bring it on I say.
