I think Xenoblade Chronicles 2 had an amazing battle system once you learned how it worked, which took me a long time. Xenoblade Chronicles battle system is good, not as good as 2s in my opinion and it's very enjoyable to play. I've played through FF7 remake and for me it does not make XCs any worse.

Dont listen to the nonsense, I've been playing a lot of this game and its dope af. If you like jrpgs or the persona series than it's a no brainer. Even 2tb sucks these days. Plus they say 1tb, 2tb etc you never get that much exactly. Just like every console I own with a hdd I had to buy more storage. Same thing here, another ssd and an external for ps4 games. They will have an upgraded model in the future for sure so if this pisses you off the wait 2 or 3 years.
