If the game looks good and runs at 60fps I don't see a issue here. Ray tracing eats up so much of usable power that it's not gonna make sense to use it in a lot of games. I wouldn't expect to see tons of ray tracing this gen, maybe later on but sprinkles of it here and there sound more realistic to me.

This is the worst reason that I surprisingly hear from a lot of people. Kids do a lot if things, they watch TV, play outside, talk with friends etc. Video games like many things are made for different age groups. Kids shouldn't be watching porn, drive a car or play video games made for adults. We have a rating system in place so parents can make the right choices for their children and so a child cannot buy a mature game in a store.

Once physical games are phased out i will play new games on PC exclusively. You probably won't even need a good PC because you can just stream everything. In fact a smart TV and a wireless gamepad is all i'll have most likely.

I have both pre ordered currently because i do like what MS has done with backwards compatibility. I collect old games and have a decent collection of original Xbox and 360 games that i would love to play on one console and have them run and look great. I managed to snag one off of Amazon but i really wanted the $35 a month plan through MS. If i can manage to make that happen before launch day i will just cancel my other pre order. I would liked to see MS take that money and open a new giant game studio of their own and make new IP's instead of doing the snobby rich kid thing just throwing money at a quick fix for your problems. Sony has been doing this to and all it does is make it harder to obtain games you have been playing for years if you only own one console. I personally don't know anyone that thought PS5 had a quick resume feature and for me it's not something that's gonna sell me on a Xbox Series X. I do think that the more options the better so if Sony adds this later on then awesome! I would rather have Sony add backwards compatibility for PS1 and PS2 at the bare minimum.
