If you can find one. That doesn't result in paying an eBay seller 2000$

What changes? Looks like same thing with minor tweaks.

This guide is stupid.
1: strikes drop weapons and armor at 365. Blue engrams are used for material. Legendary can drop at random levels. Exotics can drop at 1-5 points above your level. Skeleton keys drop randomly on strikes and can also give you 1-4 point items. Which means unless you farm omnigul your grind can take hours or days depending on the time your willing to give and if you have friends willing to help.

Wrath of the machine only gives items once a week. ...

If it's anything like ico and shadow of colossus it should do fine. If not oh well at this point iam more surprised when a game ends up being good any way

Agreed. Iam really bummed about this whole DLC. Totally ruined so much of what I enjoyed with taken King. Sigh....oh well at least gears of war should keep me busy.

They ruined heroic strikes with literally one hit critical shots coming from everywhere. Proving that light matters very little. It's humbling when a 385 gets instantly killed on what use to be a challenging but fair heroic strike. The blue drops max out at 365 for all this trouble after which you need to hope for a legendary that can get you to 370 and beyond. I've done all raids and I've never met such a huge amount of impatient @ssholes too involved with an exotic quest for pul...

Pffff these companies don't care about a game being our version of what's good they only care about what sells what generates revenue. And right now destiny is doing just that.

"So Rise of Iron isn’t a bad game, it’s just mediocre."

And yet with pre order records broken. Remains relevant today. Want proof watch the investors webcast.

"Activision Blizzard revealed its financial results for the first quarter of 2016 today, and it also noted that the online shooter Destiny now has over 30 million registered players. That’s up from 25 million last November."

So obviously the game is doing some...

"The sad reality of all of this is that publishers have the raw data, they know what generates revenue, they know what gamers are buying and they know this is working."

Amen to that. Great article. We as a gaming community tend to forget that if we are being hit with chopped games, micros, DLC, etc it's because a large part of this community is buying it. Can't totally blame anyone one of these companies for continually milking us at every turn. At the end...

"Secondly, we were influenced by seeing what has occurred in the mobile industry, and just the ability – or the willingness – for consumers to trade up an upgrade based on very tangible new benefits.

This is why we are where we are today. Thanks to mobile platforms milking the casual market for dimes which is a huge market compared to core gamers. We now have mainstream console makers thinking they can do the same every two or three years. Add to that the gluttony of h...
