Not a bad entry point system the card alone cost about 240 which is cheap as far as graphics cards go. It's a mid range PC in all aspects. Hp builds solid pc's as well unlike dell. Unfortunately this PC with its current specs would be outdated in a year as fast as VR is growing. I'd accept nothing less than the very best of the best when it comes to PC. So if you can't build your own, this machine looks pretty solid for the price range.

The human eye can only notice so much subtle detail. For those stressing about a 4K HDR set. calm yourselves your standard 1080p and standard ps4 are going to produce beautiful imagery regardless. You likely won't notice the extra foliage, and extra little details like enhanced color and lighting. Especially if you have cataracts.
