Dude you forget that skill is the most important factor of all. None of those perks mean anything if you don't know how to use it. Bungie can easily rebalance everything if need be. That's all well and good but consider the hundreds and thousands of hours it would take to get these rare drops and when you do get it another batch of hundreds and thousands of hours to get the same drops with the perks you want. Look the truth of the matter is like this. This game has the best first person shooter mechanics available. With its buttery smooth frame rates and unique weapon feel it's hard to not want to shoot things over and over again. Beautiful graphics and interesting lore. It's got some great things going for it. The difference would be diverting all resources used on a remaster toward investment on a better sequel. But we'd never know how much more could be done because we're content with what we get.
On a side note companies can make a hundred remasters a year that might float your boat but it don't float mine. I don't spend hundreds of dollars on a console to play repainted old games. But that's just me.
