I ask because I recall a number of games back in the day that had characters that looked like Arnold (double dragon) and stallone (ikari Warriors) but had different names.

Ah yes I see your point. Your right if at some moment destiny execs get hit with the greed bug we could be in for a very infuriating experience with destiny 2. Right now what I really appreciate about bungie is that they really listen to the fans at least to some extent. But if that should change than dam that's going to really suck.

Well actually Iam legend is based on 1971's omega man which is based on the 1954 book Iam legend by Richard Matheson. Way way before ps1 and way way before disaster report launched in Japan for ps2 in 2002 not ps1.

Good blog. I have to say though what you pointed out is a testament to good game design. Keeping your player base hooked and coming back for more is not an easy task. i don't think anyone should feel cheated or manipulated in anyway though. At the end of the day it's a business and like any business it's about making money. Bungie at least from what I can tell does not go overboard with micros and dlc much of it is optional and I see them trying to keep it balanced. Creating games...
Iam sorry but from the 17 minutes of gameplay I saw this game looks absolutely lame, Boring, and repetitive. Jason has been reduced to an annoyance. The animation is stiff on all characters, the texture mapping and overall graphics looks like last gen and the AI for Jason is worse than the xenomorph in alien isolation. They need to delay this game further and completely redo the game mechanics. In its current state I'd give it a mediocre 5

Hong Kong account is even easier and has a lot more to offer than Japan. The only down side is apparently the American dollar has a lesser value making the purchases more expensive.
