How about actually reading the article. He makes a good point. Diplomacy/charisma is not a real skill. The game simply has checks that will only let you say things when you pass a certain level. If you meet that level you will always win. Which is a boring way to use a skill.
Patch will probably released shortly before or after the expansion that comes out in October.
It's basically the same game every two years with no substantial changes. No wonder it doesn't sell anywhere near Gran Turismo numbers. Shame because if they were actually given some more time by Microsoft to skip a cycle they certainly have the talent to make something special.
Apparently the final game will not have a server browser. This will kill any longevity of the game (at least on PC). Matchmaking never works properly.
Actually if you were a gamer you would not claim this nonsense. The TR reboot is an old game that has been so cheap for the past few months that I can't imagine anyone not having played it yet.
Meanwhile you get three great new games on the PS4 because of crossbuy.
Actually September on PS4 is much better imo, 3 new games. But I guess if you only look at triple A titles you might prefer GWG this month even though I can't think of anyone in my friends list who hasn't already played the TR reboot.
Seeing is believing. There has been way too much talk about massive improvements in framerate, demonstrated by benchmarks specifically written to be able to show a big difference. I'll upgrade when the game benchmarks actually show this kind of improvement.
It's a laser projector, you can't compared it to one with a bulb. Completely different designs.
The Order looks better than both but Uncharted and Quantum Break have a lot more physics effects.
It's still PR bullshit in my book. Serverside level destruction causes a lot of frustration where the client and the server are not in sync.
Well if they remaster Gears 1 why not remaster the whole series. Like Halo and Uncharted. This feels like an easy way out.
If only. To run games at 1080p at 60 fps you need a mid range GPU minimum. For newer games like Witcher 3, Batman AK even a mid range GPU won't do.
Completely downhill? Since the PS4 was introduced you get more games with PS Plus and the quality of the games has improved as well. Unless of course you don't really care about the quality of the game but just how much it cost to make.
And who are these "PlayStation Plus Subscribers".
Why would you want triple A titles? They will be near launch games so chances are you have already played them or they aren't very good. Instead now you get a game like Rocket League which is far better than any triple A game that came out in the first year of the PS4.
It's not an overheating issue. The fact that the fans start running in overdrive is what prevents overheating. If the PS4 really started to overheat it would simply shut down. All modern CPUs have build in thermal protection.
Erhm it completely depends on the choices you made in Witcher 2. At least for Saskia.
Well have you ever heard from that site? Some random dude that writes a gaming blog.
Sad that today most people focus on quantity instead of quality. I don't want to wade through dozens of hours of meaningless treasure hunts. Given me 10-20 hours of great storyline and intrigue.
Earlier Tomb Raiders were pretty linear but they had interesting and challenging puzzles with very different locales. It felt like you were actually on the hunt for something. The reboots have more in common with the average third person shooter than Tomb Raider.
Why though? If you buy a PS4 you will still be able to play your PS3 games on your PS3? Looks to me you don't really need or want a PS4 anyway. You'd buy a PS4 to be play PS4 games.
Sony from the start said that there would be no backwards compatibility. Some people consider PS Now some form of backwards compatibility but that is a horseshit comparison. PS now is meant as a completely seperate service. For now in beta it offers a limited number of games but in the fut...
Gamers don't care. Driveclub is far more popular even though it's a brand new IP so they must be doing something right.
