"Years ago in the pre-Internet era, AOL was the talk of the town, so Microsoft had to copy it with MSN. No money was made; no strategic advantage was gained.
Netscape was the rage for a while, so Microsoft threw together a browser and got in that business. The browser was given away for free. No money was made; the strategy got the company in trouble with government trustbusters.
During the early days of the Internet, new online publications appeared. Microsoft ...
No one said "nyah nyah natal isn't anything!". No, its virtually eyepet. But Eyepet does more with augmented reality and what Natal is "hoping" to do. Seeing articles like "WILL NATAL SAVE GAMING?" is proof of how moronic everyone is with the gimmick of natal which is playing catchup to Nintendo and Sony with motion controls.
No video exists showing multiple objects being interacted with NATAL the same way Eyepet is, so just stop that nonsense. Pleas...
lol.. Natal is the biggest fluff this gen with absolutely no retail titles in the near future.
yet from hitting a ball with your body, yep... much more advanced....
people are stupid this gen if they think natal is different than eyetoy and what its capable of.
Its a missed opportunity for sony who is releasing games that use Natals "technology" arleady. Does this make sense to anyone?
Also, on youtube I saw a live demo at e3, with a guy speaking in spanish, and it reacted to petting gestures and baby talk.
yep.
lol
No one has had hands on Natal, with multiple people interacting with the same objects more so than Eyepets earlier E3 gameplay shows. You're just going into left field with speculation. Much like all the natal supporters. Firstly, it shows 1:1 gesture response. Regardless if theres another person, which is now the rule? lol.. Natal hasn't show any zdepth, where as a paper on a table is showing the pet can walk in z just fine, and respond in Z just fine. how does the video of him spinning the ...
Because I saw you operating the menu wheel with a gesture.. without a controller, with your hand.
Does it need a fake staged presentation?
amiright?
FPS/TPS/RPG all need controls.
I have to buy another wheel to use just for the 360. For $350 dollars to use for the 360.
Bringing my purchase of Forza3 to $410 dollars. which isn't worth it. At all. Good to know I could use the wheel on the pc/ps3 though. Hopefully the G27 will work on the 360 as well, then F3 will be used no doubt.
@ PeeJee,
Everyone knows Mart is a Xbox360 fanboy, who had no choice but to buy a PS3 to play second to none games. Stop pretending XBK is some professional site(a simple spell/grammar check will prove otherwise).
MS copies everything from Sony/Nintendo, pretty much just like MS copies from every business out:

You have 0 clue about what you're talking about. "actual gameplay has bump mapping"
Not only does Uncharted2 have photo-realistic textures from - PHOTOS(like Call Of Duty 4). It also has: Normal Mapping, Bump Mapping, Ambient Occlusion, Sub Surface Scattering, rendered-reflections, and a myriad of other Post Processing effects including per-object motion blur. <-- Which no 360 engine has yet to display.
Saying a game doesn't have a "bump map" i...
1 Uncharted2
2. Ratchet
3. GT5(still hoping it comes out this year, im not spending 60 bucks to race 8 cars and $350 for a new steering wheel that only works on 1 device)
4. L4D2(ill dl the 50mb patch)
5. MW2
6. NFS Shift
7. AC2 (if the reviews are good)
What separates the 360 from the Wii if graphics aren't an issue of this generations consoles? Because for some reason people have to zoom in 9x on comparison videos just to show how much graphics matter between the 360/ps3.
@ Toast,
Lol I know, isn't it hilarious? Thats what they've been spending their time on. I don't take the "polish" excuse either. SC has been in dev as long as Alan Wake.
and it looks well..
Heres to next year!
Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft(especi ally microsoft) are in trouble, as is the industry at large. Its not recession proof, and people frankly are replaying older games more than buying newer ones as budgets get tighter. Will the outlook be better next year? Who is to say, but I'd imagine that anyone with common sense can see why you don't invest in the largest DOWNTURN FOR GAMING this year.

and god knows what else GT5 has stuffed inside the game. Its going to be funny to see direct-feed in-game caps of co2ckpit modes vs the bullshots from the already reported higher quality replay mode of f3 as well. I mean GT5p is already better, but sadly GT5 is going to look better than GT5p....
