I tried connecting in the morning and it got stuck at initizalizing, most of the time it couldnt find a datacentre. Hopefully they´ll fix it so i can try it tonight.

Edit Reading how everyones elses seems to be working i wonder if it could it be a non-us or a non-datacentre country issue?

Its actually quite easy to defend. People want to play it and dont mind the cost (in whatever form its presented), basic demand principles.

That's always fun i hope they bring back the supply system of mgs3. Loved destroying ammo dumps and ration storage and watching their effects on my enemies. I am sure completionists like you wont feel cheated for content.

@ Baby jedi

Can you fathom the idea than some people are okay with how much their getting for their money? Its not that hard for example i wouldn't spend a penny on an Adam Sandler movie but there are people that like them and they s...

Depends on your point of view, i have played several games like the Stanley parable that can be completed in less than 2 hours but offer great value in my opinion.

Really? you are gonna take it out on the creator because you feel cheated on something you aren't forced to buy?

May i ask what your great contributions to the genre are that you can judge the creative input of others? Are you qualified in any way beyond your self appointed importance in this matter?

@ Matrix

I hope you enjoy the game and its worth every penny you decide to spend on it. Ill probably end up getting it whenever i have a gam...

First of all the first MGS is not universally considered the best, in the majority of opinions the honor goes to MGS3 as it refined and improved every aspect of the game. Its story and mechanics were not simple translations of the previous entries but had an air of originality about them.

If you accepted concepts like vamp, the sorrow and actually most of the antagonists before playing their games then sir quiet shouldnt be a problem.

Are you absolutely certa...

God i am so sick of people complaining about this,

Regenerating health was done brilliantly for both mgs3 and mgs4 so i dont understand why people still think it ruins the game.

Marking enemies is another thing that generates so much fuzz for no reason, its in no way worse than soliton ever was. Its the evolution of the sonar from mgs3 and the ring system of mgs4. Just because you can follow a few enemies you have spotted before doesnt give you omniscience l...

It has a distinct feeling which I don't know if its better or worse. It looks a lot faster and the change to certain iconic moves (like carrying soldiers over the shoulder when previously he dragged them) make it seem like a whole other series.

Again mgs3 did the whole regenerating health thing already and no one complained, In fact I thought it was a much better healing mechanic than rations.

Radar has been gone in all the prequels precluding certain special items that activated it so that isn't a change to get more gamers.

Long codecs we don't have enough information to judge considering it was a demo and you don't demo long codec conversations at a showing.

Actually regemerating health has been in since mgs1 when you got wounded into a lower threshold you crouched and recovered a bit. Its most notable appeareance was in mgs3 when it required you to have high stamina and it took a long time, it is still by far the best healing method of the series in my opinion.

I will need to test the bullet time mechanic before commenting but it seems like a good adition considering its open world and without soliton you can easily be ambushed ...

Personally as a crazied fanboy of all things mgs the change in voice is long overdue.

Big Boss is not Solid Snake, they should have made this distinction clear all the way back to MGS3 however after the backlash from MGS2 i think Kojima chose a safer aproach and took to long to correct it. Liquid and Solidus werent voiced by Hayter so even if they are clones its obvious there are differences in the outcome.

The people who made this video complrtely ignored portable ops and gray fox role in it.
Also ishmael has both of his arms while big boss on the newest trailer is using a similar mechanical arm to the russian agent in peace walker.

Binoculars are by definition two so ocelot wasnt reffering to the eyepatch or theres a shody translation.

Why wouldnt miller recognize the change in his friends voice? Or identify it as gray foxes when he was there at the inc...

Yeah right, remember the n64 and ps1? Regardless of the existance of piracy there is still a large percentage of users that buy the game. The only thing that makes a publisher abandon a platform is if its potential sales (i.e. install base) are not worth the investment. So if the backlash is representative of buying trends, well the xbone might be in trouble once the second wave of games arrives.

Seems a lot of people beat me to the punch. Oh well once more, its not exclusive

4626d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Could look better due to superior specs although I doubt it, what might happen is exclusive dlc as there was no mention of it for xbox.

That's what is understood so far. Current Gen Ground Zeroes, Next Gen The Phantom Pain.

Big boss probably more interested in the female sniper might she be a certain wolf?. Could the blond kid be liquid? So many questions so little footage.

Yes and no, they finaly proved that they have the games however they still haven't fixed the drm fiasco and that was a more pressing concern.

Thats easy they are showing now to avoid sharing the spotlight with everyone else in the industry. They bought themselves 3 to 4 months of word of mouth and almost exclusive media coverage. Which if they are launching around november its a godsend.

I dont think E3 is gonna be that interesting besides the xbox 720 anouncement. All the multiplats anounced will have lost their wow factor, the wii u is not expected to provide any shockers and from playstation besides dotting the i&...
