This is the only AAA title I purchased this holiday season, I was just too busy to look at the others, but I'm very happy with my choice. The game has a lot of depth into character and plenty of side stories to keep the player engaged. And I think this may have more moral choices than Fable 2.
Shouldn't you know better?
It's kind of like the kent couple that got busted the other day. be wary of the grey market.
It's a different target market for each system. Not a case of which system is better than which, its more of what does the end user want and how well each system fills out those wants.
Bringing back Zork again after the recent iPhone port should be a big hit. Lots of old school gamers will kill some time on this title.
cheat codes do need to return, but the bigger issue is bringing back quality single player games.
Developers haven't made the most HD technology yet. If 3D adds to gameplay then ok, but otherwise I don't have much of a need for it.
@2.2 I completely agree. It's the way its always been, my question is who will rise up and put Best Buy out of business?
If Neurotic is the case then please seek help and a few new hobbies. Is fanboyism a class as well?
Bridge Gamer is not the only term for it. Middle of the road gamers who don't just play casual games but don't spend hours online may be just Middle or Mid Gamers. Or just Gamers.
You can always get the iTouch to keep playing.
A lot of people don't want to hear things they won't like, hence why this won't get more attention than it already is.
The integrity of the gaming media industry is going the way of Hollywood.. can't wait to hear about the latest developer/producer love triangles, resulting divorces, etc.
I've had a hard time getting my girl out of mario kart, super mario bros, and brain training. L4D will be demoed and so will sonic unleashed.
A lot of my friends with Wii have been whining about lack of titles for it. I listed 4 off the top of my head and they have started to see that it's not just a bookend or paperweight.
Madworld, Conduit, No More Heros 2, Dead Rising, Resident Evil. Lots of potential coming up.
I agree with you. It may not be news but its a nice perspective and a bit of freshness to the industry. I appreciate the holiday cheer without any fanboyism. Bubbles to you.
Holidays are a great time. New game released, too cold to go outside, so you sit inside, maybe have some friends over, order food, beer, and enjoy the games.
I've been laid up a couple times and gaming has definitely helped get me through it. Fallout 3 will take up that whole week.
But remember there is a world outside of that television and this internet, make the most of it. But still remember it's not worth growing up.
Isn't there another claymation game on the way out soon? A cool effect and yes Clay Fighters was cool.
I agree its a dangerous path, but the attention on the gaming industry can be positive.
I think the real question is will 2009 be the year the PS3 gets out of the red in Sony's books? In this current economic climate it will a tough sell to keep a unit going that costs a lot to run in a highly competitive market place that isn't pulling huge returns.
Interesting thought. I must agree. After a lot of complaints about not enough content, too short, and people blitzing the game in 4 days or whatever it was I can understand the need to make adjustments/tweaks to get those players to keep paying. May not be the primary reason but is still helps.
I played the demo and it let me down from what I expected, not sure I would pay for the full version.
