This is why I don't play MMO's. One, they take up too much time. Two, sometimes you don't have any sense of accomplishment. Oh yeah and three, I like boom boom time with the girlfriend... mine and yours.
Gamers + Donations will be a win. Give a bit to help out peoples.
If a game is going to be multiplayer it needs to be DESIGNED as a multiplayer game. It shouldn't be a tack on.
Like a train wreck. You can't look away.
This game didn't do much to uphold the great Zork legend. I feel like a whole generation of gamers who didn't know what Zork was will feel like it's nothing but a bunch of crap their crazy old uncle talks about.
I agree with your releasing DLC that modifies the game should not happen, but I don't think the Fallout DLC modified the game. The game ended. The Fallout DLC Broken Steel is essentially an expansion pack. I'm not going to go off on a tangent about who thought Bethesda killed a franchise or if people thought the release was too buggy. The game was complete, it had a beginning, middle, and end. You may not have liked the ending, and wish it was continued, but that's what Broken Steel will...
What ever happened finishing the game then releasing it? Not releasing the game then dropping in a ton of "add-on's"
remember when demos were to really see if people would like it?
That's really just a case of bending the consumer over. I really hope people don't buy that stuff based on the principal of the matter.
Couldn't agree more. Bethesda has made huge strides in DLC. I think they are the best and deserve some serious credit for getting out into the market, testing the waters, and see what worked best for everyone, not just for their wallet.
Interesting article and I do agree. When I pay for a product I expect the whole thing, not some half-baked trial that if it does well they will sell lots and lots of DLC to chump pump everyone. No DLC should be more than $10.
it def looks pretty sharp, DLing now as well.
Should be easy for this game to rock their competition when WWE/WWF has sucked at life since N64 days.
I think this articled missed a point. It doesn't cover any multiplayer or interactions as experience. No one can deny the awesome times of GoldenEye, a 30 pack of PBR, and 4 good friends. Rock it.
Even though this game didn't have great sales I think it will still be a performer over time, and definitely remembered for all the hype it received.
Was Madworld worth the hype?
What will the moral dilemma be?
Any shots of the surgery as it was performed on the controller?
hope for everyone with a hitchhikers thumb!
It's great to see Wolf 3-D back in action. Definitely genre defining.
For once I'm very happy to get something first in Europe. Wahoo! I really enjoyed playing the demo and the full game looks like it may have potential and not be just a tech demo.
Co-op should be played either way. In the same room or on the internet. No reason to limit to splitscreen. I live pretty far from most of my gaming buddies so splitscreen wouldn't be much fun for me.
