I think you are right on about the Walmart buyer.

The fact is the Ubisoft did not announce this as a PS3 exclusive but only that it was in development for the PS3. When directly asked if it was coming to the 360 they dodged the question by simply stating that it was in development for the PS3. If it was an exclusive they would actually say the word "exclusive". So at this point all we know is that it is coming to the PS3. We do not know whether it is exclusive to one system or not. Now since Ubisoft does not generally do exclu...

I think the Wii will come out of the gate strong but it's popularity will dwindle over time as the novelty of the new controller wears off. The reason I feel this way is that the controller, while a fantastic idea, is still far from what they are hyping it to be. If it does not accurately mimic movement from the real world then I see no true need for it. For example if I am playing a game that requires the use of a sword but the controller only responds to generic movement such as block up...

It is painfully obvious that the overall immersive experience of gaming will be negatively effected if rumble is not included in the PS3 controller. Any fanboy who takes the tired old argument that rumbe is not neccessary because they personally turn it off while playing is speaking for the clear minority of gamers. While Sony has to downplay the move comments from Immersion to the effect that they are able to produce a controller that incorporates both rumble and a gyroscope effectively in...

That is a great video and has rekindled somewhat my lagging excitement for this game. The game looks gorgeous though I am a little concerned at the pacing (possibly too slow). Overall it does look promising.

I do hope these rumors are true.

Whatever dude. Have an open mind and know that nothing stays the same. Battle for Middle Earth is shaping up to be a great console game. There is no reason why this game can't follow in it's footsteps.

Does this mean it is going to the 360 as well?

Since Quake Wars won't be coming to consoles I am hoping that this game will be a good substitute. It looks pretty frickin sweet!

And neither are the majority of consumers.

While I think that all countries should be concerned about online gaming addiction I wonder if South Korea's problems in this area are more indicative of the culture than of online gaming by itself. It appears that this society is surpressive of indivuality. If this is so it is easy to see how a virtual world that allows people to express their individuality is so attractive. Don't know just wondering.

Why does he need to prove his statements when they are all over the web?

This is hilarious. Crazy Ken is telling outright falsehoods and all the fanboys can say is MS lies too. As if that somehow diminishes the disrespect this brilliant but eccentric and dishonest man has for us the consumer.

Why don't you fanboys just respond by stating how much you love Sony but how these type of comments are dissapointing and simply and obviously untrue. Try to for once have discussion about the news instead of a Sony worship session. All I hear from you gu...

Don't display your ignorance by branding someone else a fanboy. And don't try and dodge the issue by calling names and bringing MS into the discussion. Have launch titles ever utilized anywhere near what the hardware is capable of? No! Does it look like this will change with the PS3 launch titles? You would have to either be an idiot to believe this or a liar. So which one is Ken? Neither look too promising.

I must agree that their strategy does seem very unlikely to succeed.

Oh, and #10 has is spot on. The whole debate over copy protection crippling players that don't support HDMI is unfounded. The fact that Sony is not providing HDMI in their "el cheapo" sku should be proof by itself. This is further backed up by the rumors flying around the industry at present that copy protection won't be implemented until around 2012.

I agree with most of the above posters that the article points to the PS3's BD ROM as it's biggest draw. This benifit of course is not for games but for movies. Personally I will not be purchasing any high def movies until a winner is declared. As such I see no reason to own either of the two competing formats until either of them is crowned king.

I will go on record by stating that while they are both going to be great consoles I prefer MS's blend of hardware, software, a...
