most people believe the wiiu is only as powerful as the xbox360 or maybe a little more powerful. of course nintendo is going to say they will be equal with the ps4 and xbox720. but they can claim what ever they want since nobody has conformed specs of any of the systems. and nintendo could but the rumors to bed if they wanted. release the specs and give us a price point and release date while your at it

it is funny that people talk about this. if you all remember back when this gen launched most people wanted a longer console life cycle. I am not saying i am not ready for the next systems however i can hold out if it means the make them better and more reliable. ( had 2 360s and 2 PS3). to be fair i did have multiple ps2 as well but that was years apart and a whole lot of gaming
news flash they have already lost the casual gaming market. to smart phones and tablets, and facebook games. most of the people i know with wiis haven't played them in months. saving a few hardcore nintendo fans
imo it can be successful however it wont be like anybody is going to buy ouya and that be their only console. people will probably get it and one of the others or both depending on price and the people.

no, and hell no. i dont care how nice looking a game on your phone or tablet looks the majority of people will never spend big money or any money on these games, and would never spend hours playing a game on there phone. can you imagine playing a game for thousands of hours on your phone like WOW. they are not going to take down gaming sure lots of people play angry birds (the most successful ios/ android game) but it still didnt make the same money the last COD
pc people can say what every they want making a high end gaming pc is expensive. some people dont have the ability to upgrade their computers like hardcore pc gamers do, and the bottom line is if it wasn't for consoles gaming would have died a long time ago
as far as UC3 goes people where never going to think it was better than UC2 that game was just about perfect. the only thing 3 could ever do was live up to it. and i think it did. but i maybe bias i love all the uncharted games and think it is one of this generations stand out series
the most hardcore list for nintendo fanboys maybe. honestly look at your list. pokemon, metroid, zelda, mario all fine games but all made for hard core nintendo fans.
see nintendo's problem is that most of the people of bought a wii where casual gamers that don't pay attention to video game news or watch e3 or seek out information like the hard core fans do. they catch a news report on tv if it is there or hear a friend talk about it, so nintendo needs to realize the casual market that fought for with the wii need a littkle more info than the hard core fans do. also they should realize that a lot of those people now mostly game on tablets and cell ...
all these articles are just speculation the wiiu specs, the ps4 specs, the xbox720 specs. all rumors. and seeing how the next gen consoles from sony and xbox are at least a year away you never know what will change in that time.
i hope no one takes any of these articles seriously. because we all know they will only ever be rumors and speculation. because nintendo will never say what the specs are. that is not what there focus is and never has been, only after the wiiu comes out will we know cause some one will take it apart and post is all on the web.

hell yeah. that game was great and an ED2 would go a long way in making me want a wiiu
so when Iwata says they wont make the same mistake is he talking about pricing the wiiu at a point nintendo will make money on it, since the 3ds has to sell for a loss. or is he saying they wont price it to high so the people will buy it. since when they tried to sell the 3ds at a profit they couldn't sell it.
imo to make money they will have to sell it over 350$ if it is more powerful than PS3 and XBOX360 but if they want to sell a lot and loss money it will be under 300$

that may have been true at some point but now there is little to no difference in 3rd party titles and ps3 exclusives like uncharted, god of war, and upcoming titles beyond; two souls and the last of us have far superior graphics than any other console games. sorry xbot but you can't believe everything you see on the internet
