well they are losing money.
they have not done anything to market the wiiu i still know people that are like when is the wiiu coming out. or why would i buy a 350$ accessory to the wii i paid 150$ for. the fact is beside a few die hard nintendo fans the wii sold largely to casual gamers and that market has gone to tablets and smart phones. and if they dont do something like drop the price and increase the hd size and i dont know advertise the wiiu than its problems will just get worse...
ceos of companies get paid through profit, this is true of any company. so when you loss profit the ceo losses money. that fact that he said he cut his pay is stupid, since any ceo of any company would loss money if the company lost money.
no we would rather nintendo realize that having mario and zelda alone is no reason to buy their systems. nintendo use to have a good relationship with 3rd party devs, they use to bring a wide verity of gaming options to the gamers. but now nintendo is like you are going to get the system because you love mario and zelda and that is enough even when it is not. clearly since the wii did so well (but was a crappy system) then nintendo was like we can release the wiiu knowing it is only a little ...
For you it is not a problem, but it is for some people. And if even 5% of 360 owners are like this 100$ difference is a problem, since I can get the games I want on either system I will get ps4 instead

The difference in price for ps3 was used by Xbox fans to slam it, so turn about as fair play. It will matter to some people and ms games weren't running on Xbox1 but a few devs said ps4 games at least some where running on ps4.
Also ms said that the cloud would handle the difference in power, but now it won't because devs can't build their games around the cloud if people do not have it, no net no cloud. Games like titan fall said it was only possible with cloud.

I don't think they would use it to spy on you but they could drop the price without it but Xbox1 needs it and IMO they should have left it as an optional purchase.
And no it is for the Xbox1 to work at all. No where in any statement made by ms has anybody said for some games you wouldn't have to connect to the net even once. You have to connect to the net before you can use the Xbox1 and download the day one update stated ms. And if you are someone that can not get internet you are still boned.
These guys are right it can't spy on you if not connected to the net. But it also can't use the cloud it was built around to make up for its lack of power. Games like forza, titan fall, dead rising 3, and even sunset overdrive where and I quote "only possible with the power of the cloud"

you say they cant afford one month of DSL what company do you know that offers a month to month service because most you have to agree to at least 6 months. and this also means now they have to pay even more to get the xb1.
ms is just cant push the launch date back so it is ready out of the box and they know it, even if you dont.

Ms also said they would not change their policies because of a few people and they would educate every one about why it was better to have drm, now I guess they don't think it was a good idea. They also took away some of the good features but if they wanted they could have left it for Xbox live gold members but did not...

Ms has not once one a console generation. It is true that Xbox 360 sold way better than Xbox
So if you buy a Ford thAn sell it or trade it in on a new car at a dealership how much of that do you send to the Ford motor company. Have a garage sale do you send profits to the various companies who originally made those products. And if used games did not exists the people that buy them most likely still not buy the games so the devs would still get no money.
and neither is any other console xb1 changed that policy.
