Really impressed with what i have heard and seen so far. I mostly a campaign 1st and multiplayer gamer second i have heard people say that they completed Crysis 2 SP in well over 10hours. Crytek, you guys got a buyer here.
Halo CE is the best Halo so far but IMO, they have all been quality releases and enjoyed them all including Halo Wars. Getting Halo Reach next week but i know i will have a blast with it. Really excited to see what 343 can do with the franchise.
As for Forza, i have owned all 3 versions and will continue to buy them as long as the quality factor remains. SO happy to here a continued commitment to the franchise. My only hope is that they can bring back PGR again.
IMO, people that hate Kinect or motion controlled gaming are really closed minded people.
People say, it will treating core games but i don't see it happening. In fact, i even see more core games dropping this year than i have seen so far this gen. We have sequels to excellent games like Mass Effect, Uncharted, Infamous, Forza, Gears of War, Assasins Creed etc all coming out and new IP's in Rage, Homefront, Brink, Kingdoms etc all in 2011.

I respectfully disagree. I have a friend of mine that is buying a 360 this weekend (his first console) just because of Halo Wars.
Halo Wars is one of the best examples of an RTS that works on consoles. The campaign was solid with a very good storyline and the multiplayer was excellent. Halo Wars is one of my favorite 360 games to date and a welcome breath of fresh air to the constant bombardment of FPS that this gen seems to endlessly throw at us.

@ Blumatt : The PS2 was launched in japan March 11 2000 and the XBOX was launched November 2001.
Similar time frames between the PS3 and XBOX 360, so don't know were you got that 3-4 years from.
As for keeping up tech wise, that is something that i can never agree with. I owned both a PS2 and an XBOX and as of then, the best looking game on the PS2 was GOW2. Meanwhile, 90% of all multiplats on the 360 were head and shoulders better than the PS2 and exclusives from...

2 senior notable bungie employees (Frank O'Connor cant remember name of the other) moved from Bungie to 343 industries.
What you don't know is that a lot of junior staff also moved as well. The field chair at Oxford Brookes university for web development had a brother that was with Bungie for 5 years and moved to 343 industries 3 months ago. He also said that Microsoft has advertised 12 further positions at 343 industries and half of them are being filled by some Halo...
This is a sad day in gaming for me.I sunk in more hours into the PGR franchise then i have in any other racing game. The local and online multiplayer were super crazy fun and i am really disapointed that the studio behind such an excellent franchise will be gone for good.
I hope the rumors of Microsoft making PGR5 is true and if so, i hope Microsoft takes on a lot of the Bizarre creation staff the way a lot of Bungie guys behind Halo are now with 343 industries.
PGR is my best racing franchise of all time. PGR3 was my favorite. Loved the fact that no car that was slower than 170mph did not make the cut and i loved the virtual garage.
Hope this news is true and we get to see it this year.

Because different strokes for different folks. I personally found the game horrendous and rated the game as the worst game that i played last year. But this is coming from someone who loves loves loves Too Human and hates Fallout 3.

IMO that is absolute bulls*it and and gamer (especially the N4G crowd) that say they don't care about sales is lying.There are countless number of great titles from gens past that will never see a seguel because they flopped financially. Most of the games released on any popular console since consoles began are casual crap or plain shovelware.
The wii, ps3 + move 360 + kinect, PSP all fall into that category. Or i guess you think all Move games all AAA hardcore games.
Is that not the way it is for every console? Okay lets try something, you bring a list of every single game that will release on PS3 both full fledged move ps3 games with whatever control method and PSN games.Now tell me, how many will be of an interest to you?
There are over 645 games on the ps3 released over the past 4 years. thats an average of 150+ a year. Do all 150+ appeal to you? DOes half of them appeal to you? Infact i doubt a quarter of them will appeal to you.

Will definitely get this game.
My boss is an avid gamer and more or less a PS3 fanboy. All day today, he has been talking about how amazing Crysis 2 is and even admits, that he is hard pressed to choose between Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 (360 version he is playing) for best console graphics.
We got both HD consoles at work so he is going to bring Crysis 2 tomorrow so will check it out 1st hand.
