@orangepowerz: i am confused. Last gen, Sony fans and fanboys said that 360 exclusives sold more than PS3 exclusives because Microsoft had less exclusives. Now for the PS4 it is the opposite? Which one is it?
@lukas: I don't know about the uS but in london, I walked into GAME on Friday and bought a PS4 and xbox One for my friend that wanted them. He is happily playing them at the moment in Nigeria. I have a picture of computer exchange display with ps4's and xbox ones.
I think this sold out thing is blown out or proportion because in the UK, if you want one, you will get one.
I am no expert but from what i have been reading about cloud implementation in games is that the advantage of heaving the A.I in the cloud is that they can be dynamic. You can change their behavior etc on the fly without requiring the user to download a patch.

@fanboybeatdown: I can understand your confusion. The problem is that from the time Sony's purchase of Gaikai was announced, fanboys and media had been saying that it would be SOny's way of introducing backwards compatibility which was not true.
More fuel was added to the fire when the PS4 was announced to not have hardware BC at all. Most people said that Swny will allow you to stream your old games for free or lump it into PS+ which was something i found ridiculous...

You are 100% correct. I love the idea of funding games by independent studios because it keeps the industry alive.
Invest in them, they hopefully create a great IP that sells well. The money benefits the publisher and the studio and work on that IP continues with sequels but the added fund allows the studio to expand, enabling them to work on new IP's that would see the light on multiple consoles.

If Microsoft did not turn the game down, Heavy Rain would have been an Xbox 360 exclusive. Sony took the game up and that is how their relationship blossomed. The relationship between Quantic Dreams and Sony is like Remedy Games and Microsoft. ...
