When he joined Nokia in 2010, the company was already a sinking ship. I owned a Nokia N98 after the N95 and they were so bad (software and hardware wise) that i vowed never to own a Nokia again. Now i have owned the Lumia 900 and now the Lumia 925 and they have both been reliable and very very well built devices.
The stand alone apps they created for their Lumia devices have been fantastic and it is no wonder that as of last year, they basically owned close to 90% of the Wind...
That article was false and the tech world ran away with it. Bloomberg basically trolled everyone.

This is kind of old news. It has been known since last year that Stephen Elop will head the Xbox division shortly after the acquisition of Nokia Smartphone division.
"Nokia CEO Stephen Elop will join Microsoft and lead an "expanded devices team." Julie Larson-Green -- Microsoft's current overseer for Devices and Studio Engineering, which encompasses all hardware, including Xbox -- will continue to lead the division until the acquisition is completed, after ...
Not once did they use the word "exclusive" so both games count.
There certainly is a market for them. I have read comments from some N4G members that have already said that all their purchases for this new gen have all been digital and they do not see themselves going back to physical in the future.
How does it paint Devs into a corner? The internals are all the same, the only difference is that rather than purchasing your games from a shop, you simply purchase them via XBL.
You guys should stop with this sold out bullshit. PS4's and X1's are everywhere in the UK. You can walk into GAME in Oxford Street and leave with a PS4 right this minute.
It has been like that all this month. I walked into GAME and bought a PS4 and X1 without a pre order. Could not take a picture but went to CEX same day and they also had loads of used ones and two new units

Respawn owns the Titanfall IP so they can sell it if they want.
If Microsoft can purchase an IP that has sold over 20 million on the 360, then there is no reason to think that purchasing Titanfall IP sometime in the future could be considered if it ends up doing for the Xbox One what Gears did for the 360.
I usually do not answer to trolls but i sometimes will make the exception
"A LinkedIn resume (via VG247) from Black Tusk senior product manager Jonathan Browne reportedly says he's the "primary product manager on four unannounced new IP," and a "key contributor bringing these IP from the very early concept phase through green light to production." The latter part implies that each of them are in active development."

This acquisition goes to show that if Titanfall moves Xbox One units, then Microsoft will have no problem buying the IP or paying Respawn entertainment to keep it Xbox only for the foreseeable future.
Last Gen? Absolutely false
Gears is one of the games that they are working on along with this E3 preview

You are absolutely right. A colleague of mine came up to me yesterday asking if Battlefield 4 and Fifa are on PC. I said yes they are and asked why he was asking. He said he wants to sell his PS4 because he can't stand the controller. I was shocked when he said that because i have read everywhere that it is the best thing since sliced bread.
He said well that might be what others say but he can't stand it and much prefers the Dualshock for his PS3. I did not tell him ...
I am really looking forward to this.
Same here. Walked into GAME Oxford Street and purchase ps a ps4 and X1
This would make a brilliant ad for the Xbox One no doubt. Far better than anything Microsoft has put out since the console launched.
Microsoft over the past few years have completely lost their way when it comes to commercials. Take the original Surface as an example; instead of them showing you why you should buy one, they instead show teenagers jumping around and doing back flips. Like wtf!!! How would that make me swap my ipad for a surface?
They did bring all this hate upon themselves. I have been impressed with how fast they reversed their policies and a lot of things that they have been saying.
But this year will be the year that they have to prove that they are indeed committed to providing great games and services to benefit their consumers.
"You'll still have your chance to scream "lolz pixels lazy devs Goldeneye N64 lololololol", but now is not the time. "
lol i love that part of the comment and it is so damn true.
Nokia was bleeding Money long before Elop. Their decline started when Blackberry was dominating which was mid last decade. By 2008 they had lost around 17% market share in Smartphones and in just one quarter in 2009, they lost $832 million.
