SMS has never been released on any other system yet so it's worth it for that alone if you're a fan who wants to play an official version portably. It's a dirty job on Nintendo's end for sure though.
It'd be great to offer them individually, at least digitally, but apparently they can't be bothered to even keep the bundle on their servers for longer than 6 months, let alone do something as consumer friendly as offer options. I'm not terribly interested in SMG, mostly SMS with SM64 as a bonus, but it's still a great trilogy.
What a missed opportunity to add Luigi to SM64...
Are they basically saying they can't hit 60fps with this and you need to choose to enable it, taking a hit in other areas? What a start to the generation if so.
If TES & FO are exclusive, then yes, Sony's plans will (or at least need to) change. There's no games that can match these style of western-styled open-world action RPGs. Maybe CD Projekt Red but I didn't get into TW3 so I don't consider that a contender against TES, not even close.
Sony will need to do something to fill that very specific, gigantic void. Lesbian zombie stories about golfing aren't going to carry them this generation, I'm afraid....

What's new from what you listed? DLC, a remake, and a licensed game? R&C is the only new, full game and iirc it is only aiming for the launch window, not the actual launch per se. Not much of a Christmas.
Don't get me wrong, Xbox isn't impressing either. Probably less so, actually. I'm just very disappointed in next-gen in general.
That's not true. Nintendo's services are terrible and impact the overall experience, and that's been the case for each system they've made since NGC.
Nintendo has the best studios and games, actually. Between the two, Sony and Microsoft though, yeah, if we eliminate Naughty Dog from the equation then I certainly agree.
A good game is a good game. He was not the director of the Acid games, merely the producer, and they're fantastic entries in the series.
I would if it was good. They can't screw up a remakes as long as they're faithful to the originals, so that'd be a good place to start. MG1 & MG2 are unplayable by today's standards anyway, it has to happen. The rest of the series can just get remasters.

Who cares how old the systems are? Graphics haven't improved as fast as they used to. We'd need to wait at least another year or so, and they'd need to charge $600 too, just to truly impress us with a next-gen offering. Everything so far looks like PS4 Pro+, I'm sorry but I sleep.
Like what, TLOU2? Lol. Back on PS3 there were some worthwhile games, but PS4 can be mostly skipped; there's probably less than 10 "must play" exclusives, whereas PS3 had dozens, and PS2 had at least 100.
I'd be more interested in a PSP2 with the graphics close to PS4. Switch is cool but these graphics are a real sore spot...some Vita games look as good as Switch games (Killzone specifically). Switch should've been stronger.
This is true but not because of Microsoft, but because next-gen is looking weak in terms of exclusives AND graphics. Either give more time to improve them (too late now) or wait for PS6 to actually get that "wow" factor we haven't had in a long time.
We definitely don't "need" them, not if the graphics are as minimally improved as they seem to be. I don't mind it though, I can skip this generation and pick back up on PS6 when there's finally enough of a difference to count.
