PS4 can definitely do it. I think XB1 can too but it will have to dial it back in a few years once devs really start pushing the systems.

BTW, PS4 design is way more elegant than the Xbox One design. IMO neither console is all that but the Xbox One is like a huge VCR while the PS4 is like a modern PS2. The choice is obvious from a design perspective, PS4 wins in this area.
I guess you didn't see Microsofts conference when they have issues with Battlefield 4. It's a production issue with the presentations not the games. I don't know about your experiences but when a game freezes.....it freezes. You would have to restart the console to play again.

Actually when you pre-order from Amazon, they don't charge your bank account/credit card until the item ships. So you can pre-order now.....
They will get it at launch just not release day. It really depends on how lucky you are. Also like the people below said, it means there is high demand for the PS4 seeing as how it is not only #1 on the list but also #3. There are 2 PS4 consoles in the top 20 and only 1 Xbox One console.
Those who don't visit gaming websites will buy a PS4 no matter what. That $399 price point is very important. Kids who want to play Call of Duty will have their parents buy them a next-gen console. Since the game is on both consoles, they will choose the cheaper(and most powerful) one.
Define successful? From what it looks like, XB1 will lose marketshare next-gen. It will probably sell less than the PS4 too.
