They would have to intentionally gimp the PS4 version. There's literally no area where Xbox has the advantage.

To be honest, it kinda deserves the poor sales. It has poor 3rd party support and even Sony themselves have done a poor job at supporting it. I hope they step their game up this year. A price cut is not enough. Ports are not enough.
As far as I know all multiplatform games are supposed to have the same features. It's called feature parity. Xbox One is getting them, so should the PS4. There is no reason why it shouldn't. None at all besides money-hatting.
I put up with the timed-DLC. I won't put up with a gimped version of the game.
Not just GDDR5. The more powerful GPU and the hUMA technology in the PS4 makes it the best platform for multiplatform games.

The game has dedicated servers on Xbox One and it doesn't have them on PS4, you won't get my money. Plain and Simple.

You see Sony is smart. They didn't announce November date before in order to avoid the "PS4 delay" headlines in case something went wrong. This is the difference between Sony and Microsoft.
Sony = We have a plan. Let's stick to it. Don't announce anything until its ready.
Microsoft = Oh crap! We gotta announce the Xbox now! Sony beat us to it! We'll release in November in time for Black Friday at all costs!
PS4 = Cheaper, More Powerful and more developer friendly architecture.
Why would anyone buy an Xbox One again? PS4 is guaranteed to be the best place to play multiplatform games and it will also have the best exclusives.
