I can't predict PC sales since digital purchases aren't tracked. But I would say 500-750k physical copies of the PC version.

There's a difference between hype and anticipation.
Those who anticipate the game are actually going to buy it.
All this hype you see on Battlefield 3 is just that....hype.
Hype does not equal sales.(Example: Duke Nukem Forever)

Either get a quick port of the consoles versions or wait a little longer and get a proper PC version.
Piracy on consoles is pointless. At least for online multiplayer games.

Anyway they're doing double XP across all COD games because if you prestige in each game you get a prestige token to use in Modern Warfare 3's Prestige Shop.

Most people know its a beta but it still put them off. It was a huge disappointment. There was nothing amazing about that Metro map. Seemed like a bad COD-clone with bigger maps.
But it isn't, me and you know that. Why did DICE not choose Caspian Border for the beta? Did they think the Metro map would impress COD players? It didn't. And that glitches and bugs didn't help either.

They didn't announce anything.(Yes, it happened already) Just reminding people of how great the 3DS and telling them that Mario Kart is finally coming out. Not really worth a conference IMO.

How is the game pre-patch?
How is it post-patch?
Of course it will sell less. It has nothing to do with the quality of the game. It's just that Final Fantasy sequels never sell as much as the first.(Example: Final Fantasy X-2)

Modern Warfare 2 sold 5 million in its first week.........on Xbox 360 alone.
For comparison lets look at Bad Company 2 sales in its first week..........820k.
I expecct BF3 to at least double that on Xbox 360. If reviews are really good then it might even triple it but this will be highly unlikely since a lot of people are going to buy MW3.
