It'll take more than minutes this time. Christmas is in 5 days, this shipment should be one of the biggest since launch.
Because the 3DS sales aren't sustainable? In a year or two it'll be in decline and they'll need to start planning for the "4DS".
Nintendo did a great job at turning the 3DS around. I doubt they could do it again with their next handheld.
They'll release their games on tablets/phones eventually. Even if they have to create one themselves.

-Huge shipment for the final 2 shopping weekends before Christmas.
You see they're following a strict schedule. As we know, Sony's launch shipment for the US was bigger than Microsofts. NPD sales results are proof of that.
UK sales results also prove that EU received a bigger shipment for launch as well.
Actually in this case, slow start does mean poor performance.
Wii U is the worst selling console in recent memory. Even worse than the PS3.
The PS3 had 3rd party support to help it recover, Wii U doesn't.
Wii U is Gamecube 2.0. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
Xbox One was more stock than PS4, it will sell better this Christmas in Australia.

PS3 had a horrible launch. It launched at an insanely high price.
Wii U is barely performing better which is very alarming. It launched at a much lower price and has those Nintendo IP.

OT: Hopefully its Treyarch. I really can't see Sledgehammer making Modern Warfare 4. If they release COD next year, it would be a new entry into the series. We already had Ghosts this year...Activision would want Black Ops 3 which is massively popular, maybe even more than Modern Warfare.
So they're gonna push this hard in Japan? Seems too western doesn't it? I guess Japanese gamers love a good story no matter what type of game.

3DS is massively down YoY. So is Wii U(it launched this time last year though).
Yeah, Nintendo is dominating but they are taking all the scraps. It seems even Japan has embraced mobile gaming now. How the hell is 3DS selling less than last year if this year's game lineup was its best ever?
