This guy doesn't know anything..new console are needed because EVERYONE already has either a PS3, 360 or Wii.
People buy a new iPad every year, I think we can handle a new console every 7-8 years.
That will NEVER happen unless the game is made by one of the giant publishers.
You don't even need a TV to play it! That is a huge plus if there are tons of people in your household.

the whole point of the tablet controller is to be able to play when the TV is busy. if everyone wants to play with the Wii U then you can play on the TV or you can play on the tablet controller and share.

There's a lot you can do with a dedicated graphics card on a console. A mid-range console is like a high-end PC.
Console have the luxury of optimization.

Oh but they do know. The developers which have both the Durango and Orbis dev kits are acting as double agents and spy for each other. At the very least Microsoft and Sony know each others tech specs. Launch dates speculation is just that, speculation.
360 needs a price cut if it wants to maintain that 3mil lead over the PS3. Good for Sony that MS is too greedy :D
What a waste. Could have created a new IP for the core gamer which is desperately needed. But I guess Microsoft is trying to be the new Nintendo. Good for them.

I guess I made some enemies so that explains the disagrees.
The Kinect budget wasn't just for the holiday period. It was for the whole year and that includes flying people all over the world to give interviews and E3 and stuff like that. But yeah MS has much more money to spend, that's not a surprise, we already knew that.
