A $400 price would be preferable, but yeah I would take the plunge at $500 but I have a feeling most won't. I just hope they price match Microsoft, so that way people will based their purchases on games, not price.
"I just got my X8!"
Yeah, it doesn't sound good.
"I just got my PS4!"
Now that sounds awesome!
I'd say more like $399.
$430 is an unusual price and $30 could make all the difference between someone buying a PS4 or not. $399 is marketable, $430 is not
Premature? This is long overdue.
I'm done with this generation.
Just give me God of War Ascention and The Last of Us and I'll happily move on.
Looks like we're all buying PS4s next-gen.
Microsoft, you dug your own grave.
Actually more like 2.5million.
4 Million is the number they expect to ship by the end of March which is down from their previous 5.5m forecast. At the moment it is looking extremly likely they will miss their 4m forecast as well.
No, graphics aren't everything, but then again power is more than just graphics. Think about that for a second.
They all look to plain. I would like it if they moved away from the black.
Looks fucking amazing. Hopefully this game gets ported to PS4 as well!
Don't worry, it will. Besides, power brings innovation as it allows for much more freedom for developers.
It won't be free. Not a chance at all.
Ancient DVD format.
Thankfully next gen both consoles will use Blu-Ray but the Xbox 720 is going to be weak so that will hold back 3rd party games. SIGH.
PS4 is gonna be awesome. Suck it haterz.
its supposed to be a touch pad and its supposed to be in the front.
Glad it's launching here in the US. The sooner the better. September would be nice. Lauching in the holidays only leads to supply and inventory issues.
This has been known for months if not years.
Don't worry Microsoft, Sony is about more than just making noise. Go back to placing some more restrictions on online gameplay.
From a specs standpoint it obviously isn't. I think even Nintendo fanboys can't deny it. EA and all these big 3rd party companies are building these high-end engines for PS4/720 and even PC. Wii U is the last thing on their mind with these engines.
Do the people who bought it get a refund?
Wii U is doomed.
I'm sure Microsoft has their reasons for blocking used games and always-on online. They probably expect most Xbox 360 owners to upgrade to XBox 720 just like Sony expect the same from PS2 to PS3.
