Dedicated servers have been available for decades & was almost exclusively used until Xbox Live came into existence. This cloud talk is absolute nonsense.
Sony expects to sell 16 million in one calendar year, given the price, I think that's quite possible.
Considering Sony Santa Monica is helping develop it, on PC/Xbox One port seems unlikely.
May I recommend Little Big Planet Vita, my favourite game of last year!
This is why I fear for a all digital future. Games basically have a shelf life of a few years now. Very depressing. All online multiplayer games should be able to be played over LAN.
You say that, but have you heard the language used on Xbox Live?
Believe it or not, not everyone is the same as you. Having diversity is great for the industry & gamers.
Well, I probably not gonna buy any, I don't think EA have made a truly great game since Bad Company 2 & Dead Space.
It's an absolutely unnecessary price rise. The PS4/Xbox One versions will be PC ports. Will only buy EA titles used (just to prove a point!)
The US government is a traitor to its people.
Actually one of my favourite games of all time. Old Resident Evil's meets Demon Soul's. People shouldn't let the rough presentation or them off.
I heard rumours it maybe at Gamescom this year.
I will always buy physical over digital (bar PlayStation Plus). The day physical dies is most likely the time I stop buying new games.
Only people who don't understand design would disagree with you. I doubt there's any room for more memory modules on the silicon.
Read his comment.
Publishers love DRM has they can sell you a shit game with no consequences. The best DRM is making a good game. If your business isn't sustainable without f**king over the customer, then something is seriously wrong with it. (By the way, no one was gonna buy the Xbox One before anyway, it would have destroyed companies, not saved them)
Last of Us says hello, followed by Bioshock Infinite! I'm not anti online, but think there's more than enough room for a mostly offline machine. I'm looking forward to getting a WiiU in the future.
It's been £150 from other retailers (with Nintendo Land, that can be obtained cheaply elsewhere). I imagine that's gonna be it's normal price by Xmas.
The prices will drop, but they will take advantage of eager gamers unfortunately. Games could be more expensive (upon release) up to about 6 months to a year (depending on how sales pan out). Closer to launch retailers may get more competitive with each other, especially online ones.
That post makes me not want an Xbox One more than anything else.
