I prefer Tekken series tenfold. Soul Calibre is good, but I honestly feel it peaked on PS1 Soul Edge. I absolutely loved this game & thought it was close to Tekken 2 & 3 for the all round package.. But due to the fact it was a more arcadey (I know both games are very arcadey), user & casual friendly due to it's smaller, simpler moves set, I feel Tekken had & still has the deeper gameplay & caters more to both casuals & hardcore gamers & fighting game fans. ...
Sucks if you own all these games, but if not, is pretty awesome as pretty much all of these games are full retail games & could sell as disk based titles (besides Dead Nation & possibly Ratchet due to it's length).

The downside is that the team responsible for the 1st were behind such greats as Chronicles Of Riddick (Xbox1) & The Darkness......yet, the sequel is being developed by the dudes who did Dark Sector.....Now while I finished Dark Sector & thought it was a great little title.....it was no The Darkness or Riddick, as far as story & gameplay/controls goes.
Hopefully the developers can make that transition from a 7-8 scoring game to a 8.5-9.5 scoring steller title,...
PSP 2 or NGP is the one that really should sell big, as it has the power & proper technology to be the waaay better portable gaming console.
I will be getting the PSP2 over the 3DS ten fold, as PSP is an awesome bit of kit, & PSP2 looks to be a huge step up from PSP, as opposed to 3DS just being a slight step up from the DS with the gimmick of 3D to be it's Wii motion controller-like savior.
I saw a review the other day that stipulated that it didn't work with Kinect (or was really, really bad in the accuracy stakes)...Or was it Top Spin 4 that didn't work with Kinect, but did with Move?
The best comeback Sony could do, would be to absolutely hammer out every great PSone title onto PSN (even updating some with improved HD graphics). So these steps would kick ass & make PSN waaaay better than both Live & Wii online.

This source of reviews seems to go the polar opposite to the rest of the biz. In some cases that can be good....but when you see this shimozzle of a reviews source scoring MK a 5, when it's average has to be somewhere in the high 8's (sorry, couldn't be bothered looking up gamerankings or the like)....then Brink scoring 6-6.5's in near all other reputable reviews, then something stinks here.
Hopefully it's to put up new content that we have missed over past month or so.....Like Outland for instance, as well as making servers be able to cope with massive traffic....I mean, I blame Sony none for previous problems.....but it seems silly of them not to anticipate the fact that a gazillion of it's PSN members would not all clamber aboard PSN, as soon as news of it's re-application was heard.

So before I even got the chance to get back on again....it was taken off again due to large ammounts of traffic.....now if true, this does seem dumb on Sony's behalf, as they knew there were 75million accounts out there (so taking into account double up's), so around 50million master accounts lets say, for arguements sake........then this is something Sony should have been prepared for, the poor dumb bastards.

Finally someone gives it a score more in line with how awesome the game truly is. I was worried with the new setting (going the whole split 2nd path), but once I fired up the game & started playing, I found the game not only anhilated split 2nd, but also the other 2 MS's, & every other arcade racer I'd ever played since the 2nd & 3rd Burnout's from PS2 days.
It truly is THE ARCADE RACER to beat this gen.
