Sony should have just dropped the arse out of the PSP's price, and encouraged developers to make masses of software for the PSP, as well as hammering out more top notch 1st party titles for this little handheld. They need not have even mentioned a new PSP next, after Go being such a failure (deservedly so for not adding a 2nd anologue stick).
They should have held off on the NGP and had a major 2nd wind against 3DS, with a cheaper price, better line-up of games already out, awes...
Simple Solution:
Buy a PS3 and buy the Asian versions of all your games from Playasia or Yesasia. Not only are they released pretty much alongside the U.S. versions, they are also the same in content as U.S. versions (if anything, probably would be less edited than even U.S. ones), everything is in english in game and even covers and instructions, and they are also $30-40 dollars cheaper than buying games here in OZ. Actually when PS3 launched here in Oz it was $1000.00 Australian dollars. The conversion rate at the time was not even a factor, other wise it would have equated to a much more reasonable $700-800 price (and this is including shipping and numerous taxes) I bought a launch machine...They skyrocketed in price when b/c was canned, so I could sell mine now without too much loss.

Killzone 2 smashes the COD franchise. Not that I'm saying COD is bad, it is an excellent online shooter, with a pretty standard single player game (although way too short)....but KZ2 offers the same experience, with better visuals and enemies, and a unique control system.
People seem to think COD4 is the only fps to have. I found myself enjoying Resistance more on and offline, KZ2, Far Cry 2, amongst others.

I think Prototype looks as good as Infamous graphically. They both have different art styles, but I would hate to pick one over the other graphically.
It comes down to what Sucker Punch can do in the final months to make it look better. If they can't do that, it all comes down to gameplay, missions, levels and fun.
Sony haven't even started with there barrages of top tier titles yet. People fail to understand that when Xbox 720 is launching, PS3 will be at the price point that masses of casuals start dipping in.
