I bought the HF-1 version which is identical in design & the only difference is the firmware upgrades are available on HF-2 & not on HF-1.

I think PS3 owners might have snubbed it for the fact that the game seemed custom made for online versus multiplayer....but not long before release we were informed that vs online was not happening & some other cheap ass online crap was offered.
I mean, out of Gears & this game, Bulletstorm is the one easily more suited & a better fit for online versus, as it is far better from a gameplay standpoint with it's fast paced, twitchy, run'n'gun gameplay & tig...

Some reviews say 12 years, some say 14 years, now latest journalistic incompetence claims a 15 year development cycle for this game. I mean, this game probably realistically had less than a years developement time when you accumulate the hours the numerous developers actually worked on this, in between the times when they were releasing there other releases.

The fact is that when these next gen machines start getting headlines on a frequent basis, and especially when 1 company comes out with a new machine at the most major gaming convention a month ago.........then it is obvious that all 3 machines will be released no more than 18mths apart for all 3....If that didn't make sense, what I.m saying is that both Sony & MS will have there machines out within 18mths of the Wii-U launch.

Duke Nukem Forever is definate game of the year material, & if it doesn't win, the whole system is rigged & screwed. Walking or running down a corridoor & being able to shoot is the biggest inovation in gaming since 3D polygonal graphics. Homefront is a great little game. And offers quite a excellent alternative to COD online.
This is a shame, especially considering the game sold very well for a new IP. But then again, Free Radical made a whole series of masterpieces in the Timesplitters series, then went onto newer, more powerful hardware & made a flop. So I guess you can expect anything, if a developer like Free Rad. has one misfire & is killed off.
Well, I bought it on PS3, choosing to get inFamous 2 a bit later, as couldn't afford both. The game is great, & of course Duke Nukem on 360 will sell better than inFamous 2 on PS3. 360 has a huge pc cross over fanbase, as well as fps fanbase as well, & this is a game that is being marketed ridiculously heavy on all platforms, so the hype was assured to hook 360 fans in, whereas the 1st inFamous never really got a whole heap of hype, & didn't see huge numbers in sales. in...
It needs to be "NEXT GEN" for hardcore gamers to bother in anyway. If this thing is only as powerful as the other 2, or the lowest common denominator development theory is met by 3rd party developers (as I suspect it would mostly, just like PS3, no 3rd party developers will bother making games look infinately better on the hardware, as it will more than likely up development costs)

Looks very nice graphics wise & artstyle combined.....but it looks like it controls like a dog, has crappy, toddler game looking enemies & is a bit too dark.
This game would benefit from a rewrite & design of story & enemies, plus traditional controller, as fps's with these motion controllers are just too cumbersome, & no matter what solutions they try to sell me with overacting doing a complete 360 should be done with the flick of the right anologu...
I bought the game on launch day here in Australia & I love it online & offline. The game is gonna get panned no matter what, as people seem to thing this game was developed constantly for 12years or so. These 2 features are all PSN needs to be the better alternative to Live without any doubt. I already feel my PS3 offers the better online experience, as it does online gaming absolutely great, for no extra charge other than what your ISP costs you monthly & the game cost.
