Nope. It's still PS2.
Who cares that it was released 5 years before the 360.
@paintsville
If someone bought PS3 for Blu-ray only, how would he be affected with supposed lack of exclusives?
Or are you suggesting someone bought PS3 for movies and he was only playing exclusives and he will now buy other console to play multiplat games?
PM me some of the stuff you're smoking.
It's a desperate stunt claiming he doesn't know who SCEA is. He is afraid of something. I am surprised that his lawyers couldn't come up with a better excuse.
I hope they think the same way. I think it would be wise for Sony to stick with Cell architecture as it proved what it can do and after developers learned to program for it. There is no new disc based media on the horizon so Blu-ray would suffice. Just add three or seven more Cells and more RAM. I guess the GPU would need an upgrade unless they make it possible/easy to use the Cell as the GPU as originally planned.
9.1/100 isn't good.
9.1/10 on the other hand ...
There are many of us Motorola fanboys here.
It's not that bad: they both have the same gen DVD drive.
Sev, what did you do to real Sev?
I hope so. My mouse's hands are too small for controller.
It wasn't a fish. It was a mermaid transvestite.
I agree about Piyotama. One of the best puzzle games. Gameplay wise beats Tetris in my opinion. Plus music makes it so much fun.
Calling All Cars was pretty good, too.
@a08andan
I am waiting for holographic 3D, too. In the meantime I have no choice but to wear glasses. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good.
After PS3 version issues seem to be exaggerated by the fanboys, I will reward Crytek by purchasing the game. I feel they sincerely tried to do their best.
I felt the same way when I started, but I decided not to care about kill/death ratio. I thought I'd never kill anyone :) After my first kill I had 500+ hours of fun!
I had the same thought few posts above.
Haze didn't sell that bad, close to a million I think. Not for the full price though.
Ditto to that: I liked Haze and loved Genji, regardless of camera that did somewhat ruin the gameplay. Critics misunderstood moronic dialogs in Haze as cheesy, but I think they were meant to show what kind of people it takes to believe in Mantel's reasons for war against the rebels. However, rebels dialogs did get repetitive nearing the end. It feels the development got funds cut, or it was rushed for whatever reason.
@ZombieNinjaPanda
You were talking about the OtherOS. I just suggested what to do to keep it: do not upgrade the firmware.
At home, I've been only using Ubuntu for more than 3 years now, and even though I prefer Linux to other OSs, I never installed it on my PS3 simply because of not enough RAM. That's why I sincerely believe that the removal of OtherOS is just a lame excuse to justify hacking PS3 or hating Sony.
Then you shouldn't have installed the firmware that removes the OtherOS. Simple.
I got one few months ago, and while it's not perfect it's pretty amazing. It's not easy watching lying on your back for example, but until the technology improves I'll enjoy what we have now. So far my favourite experience is: Super Stardust HD and Imax Deep Sea. Killzone 3 demo looked pretty good in 3D too.
