My perception of North American gaming sites, especially big ones is that they are just marketing outlets for western games. Their employees work for salaries and they better be nice to whoever pays them and that's mostly american game companies with big marketing budgets. No bias, no conspiracy, just business.
I agree. I like XMB on PS3, PSP, Bravia, BD Player. I thinks it works great with controllers with navigational arrows. It could probably work fine with touch screen too.
For someone like me who used to subscribe to Qore, that's like additional $30 off with Plus.
Does anyone know what happened to free movies? I think it was part of the program, but can't find them now.
I played a few created by Sucker Punch and I liked them. If I had time I'd create one myself paying attention to the location e.g. near the wires and pipes for fluid gameplay, placing those typhoon tokens where there are hordes of enemies for adrenaline rush... If someone dissects and understands the gameplay, they can surely create a great UGC.
Only few times have I noticed a lag. And that's when I was playing on European servers. I'm in Canada.
Based on just playing Mod Nation Racers demo I tend to disagree. I'll be definitely getting the game. Better late than never.
There is nothing wrong with Cole's voice. I don't know where that comes from ...
@Neckbear
One thing is not debatable: graphics are MUCH better in inFamous 2. Only someone who hasn't played it can claim otherwise.
Some sites included in Metacritic are retarded or haters ... liars either way. Edge gave it 60. There goes their credibility forever in eyes of everyone who gets to play Infamous 2. The game deserves 95 in my opinion.
Insomniac Games seems to be much nicer place to work. I remember reading they had 8 weeks vacation.
Yeah, the problem is that people who know business, have connections, know how to golf, aren't applying for jobs that pay 5 figure salaries.
Even in charitable organizations, they first take their cut and give what's left to the needy. Some of their CEOs earn 7 figure pay too.
GROWTH of what? I assumed it was Hardware. There are official number from Sony and Microsoft. For example:

I divided that by number of months since console rele...
No, it doesn't. Here is the proper order for consoles (monthly sales since release):
1. Wii 1622K/month
2. PS3 943K/month
3. 360 820K/month

Well, it turned out that these particular hackers are pre-op transgender...
Here is some pretty shocking info on LulzSec members posted by other hackers. It's supposed to be true. Either way it's worth reading:

Well that may be what they're looking for. Apparently, few of them are literally trans-gender. At least according to info on LulzSec members posted by A-Team. Funny stuff.

There isn't much 3D content yet, so even if they want people wouldn't be able to watch 3D most of the time. I don't know if any TV station anywhere in the world sends 3D signal. As far as I know, there are none here in Canada.
I bought a 3D TV last December and I don't watch much TV either 2D or 3D, but from what I've seen if every movie or game looks as good as Imax Deep Sea or Super Stardust HD, then we'll have 3D revolution. There were freaking fishes all over my living room. There is hardly any artifacts in those two, unlike some other 3D media.

"Btw, I don't think "North American gaming sites" is a fair analysis. I think most sites, regardless of continent of origin, have been doing this."
I agree. I didn't mean it as in "ONLY" North American gaming sites. It's just that because of language I only visit English speaking, mostly US sites. I can assume others do the same.
