I dunno, how can you not like any nintendo first party game?
nah, it didn't even have lol
I like having 4 controllers for my consoles, so yeah, for me it's somewhere between a 150$-200$ extra investment.
For most people it's not a big deal though.
@mayhem My TV is facing my bed so there a lot of nudity going on. and if you can turn it on with your voice it's at least always quite active.
they clearly made it sound like fifa14 was xbox only, but they were referring to fifa14: ultimate team.
unicron is right, I still remember the year Sony announced they would have 12 exclusives at GDC and I never was able to find out which were the 12 because most of them were small games that didn't get media coverage. (one of them was gomibako which is awesome)
@CheekInk
I'll give you PlanetSide 2, but really how many PC exclusives are there that take fully advantage of the hardware?
I can only think of star citizen and that's not out yet. Maybe the total war series fits the description but generally speaking PCs are used to play what can run on console. Also, PlanetSide 2 runs on my laptop, I guess a current-gen console could still run it poorly if SOE decided to port it.
do people here even read more than the title? what the author is trying to say is that PCs are next-fen ready, but just don't have next-gen games yet because they are still designed with current-gen consoles in mind.
I get the idea, but there's definitely something special about playing and discovering a game at the same time as everyone else and discussing it with friends.
there's no way I'm not getting GTAV and the last of us day 1, but if you can afford to wait, game prices do drop really fast and not only on steam, console games can be found new for 20$ after 3-6 month.
I wouldn't exactly say money mismanagement, but rather unexpected costs. look at how long the bureau and bioshock: infinite have been in development. They are never gonna recoup the money on xcom and I'm not sure bioshock infinite was profitable.
yeah but TT did not put out many other games than these, and I wasn't under the impression that XCOM was a fail either.
anyway they'll be fine. 19mio is not that much of a loss and GTAV is around the corner. looking at their wikipedia page though, they do have a few studios not producing anything.
a loss can be also explained going into next gen.
the flower demo? you mean flower? flower is awesome and a full game sir!
Sony didn't brainwash anybody, lol. gaming companies never talk about their history unless it's to talk about their legacy. there is no brainwashing here, just being a normal company.
and nintendo didn't create playstation at all, they screwed over sony which then decided to get money back on their investment.
@yugovega
I know that when you post a message it goes strait to the nintendo severs, but then for someone to answer it has to randomly pop up on somebodies screen. I don't know if that part is immediate.
why are you getting disagrees? mario games are tough, (maybe not the recent ones) , I never was able to finish the gameboy mario as a kid.
I don't think anyone has said it was an issue with the WiiU, it's more of a commentary on how games have changed and newer players have trouble completing classic games.
I think it's rather cool that there's a system built right into the console to ask for help from other players though. I don't know how fast the question is sent out to other players, but if it's quick, it's really cool.
as much as I don't like the idea of youtubers not getting money for their work, I think it might improve the overall quality of nintendo let's plays on youtube. From what I have observed, people who make videos for their own fun rather than the money simply make better videos.
ok, I just watched a play through. I'm quite reassured.

ugh, this is absolutely NOT want I wanted from the last of us… really disappointed, hopefully, not all of it is like this.
limited ammo, my ass!
for once, at least, it didn't look weird.
