zavvi is good for getting discounted games. I don't get pre-ordered games with them anymore, they've been late too many times
the last guardian, hopefully.
oh no, this is not good! if I get it free I'll play it, and won't be able to sleep ever again.(I'm kinda bad with horror games. last of us already had some parts that were too tense for me)
while this game is easily one of my favorite games this gen, I can easily see how somebody can dislike it.
For starters, gamers who aren't into being engrossed by the atmosphere and world will definitely find it "slow". it's also a pretty tough game, for gameplay and story, some will get frustrated by the difficulty, others won't want to experience the grim world. A lot of people also don't appreciate stealth gameplay or horror, even when well done. ...
I still think it's a bad design decision though. especially when a game is focused on the narrative, you don't really want the player to be struggling with the controls.
cool idea for multiplayer, I'm looking forward to playing this.
what's up with the sound in the video? the city just doesn't young alive at all.
I haven't played witcher 1 or 2, but for some reason I'm really exited for this game.
I just finished it and I really don't get how anyone can consider this game to not be as good as uncharted.
while I wouldn't call it my favorite game, I would say it's the best crafted game I have ever played. The attention to detail is staggering and the amount of resources that went into it puts any other game to shame. I can't believe how many empty houses were modeled for this game, and none of them were similar.
I'm not sure you realize that "sharing" your game how you are doing it now on your PS3 is not a feature, it's a design loophole. game"sharing" on PS3 is meant for people with multiple consoles.
you are just comparing two different things, what you should be comparing is lending a disk to somebody versus sharing a game with your "family" on xbox one. when you compare those, you realize that both have their advantages, and are comparable in...
if it works like that, it's really cool.
just keep in mind that this way, you can't play multiplayer with these friends, and that you have to wait 30 days before sharing.
Elli isn't as useful, but I feel like her help is way more organic that Elizabeth's. Elizabeth basically pauses the game to throw you what you need, while Ellie helps how a character in that situation would.
I don't think droping f bombs is particularly immature.
during infinite you follow elizabeth going from a child to an adult (figuratively), so she does start out as immature as it gets(dreaming about going to paris, dancing, singing...), and while by the end she's a fully mature adult, she just takes on the status of an all-knowing god, which I don't really consider as "mature". It transcends maturity, but I would argue that at that point elizabeth stops...
yeah, quite often I after climbing over something that seemed a bit high, I would turn around to see if ellie was able to manage it, and not because I was afraid of losing my AI partner.
I just finished listening to the episode. I'm pretty sure it's not jeff canata saying that he prefers the controler. I think it's john davison that brought it up, then jeff and garnett agreed with him about the controler being good, not saying it was better than the 360's
for me the top openings would be, the last of us, god of war 3, bioshock: infinite, uncharted 2 and brutal legend. I'm completely unable to choose between those.
for me it's a tough choice between infamous 1 and arkham asylum, for some reason I absolutely couldn't get into arkham city.
Pausing the game feels a bit like cheating, a bit like how people consider "listen mode" as cheating.
And I'm not saying panicking isn't fun :) in this situation at least
I need tips on how to not panic when things go wrong.
it IS better than the walking dead and skyrim, though. I prefer skyrim, but I think that the last of us is just a better crafted game.
I'm one of the people who liked ascension a lot, and I hope this is not true, I've had enough god of war for the next few years. Unless the gameplay is radically different I won't be buying this.
