I vote serious harm.

To all advocating this wake up and open your eyes. It won't stop there, remember how downloadable content was described the same way. If you give them an inch they will take a mile.

I swear they pull this shit..and its on.

Thank you,

You captured exactly what Bzone24 was trying to say. GT is a personification of the system. Just like Halo, FF(before it switched). Games so engrained in the system it sells the system.

I know I'm not really in to cars, but I'm also picking up GT5 day one. I've played the previous games, and they never fail to impress.

Really...?

Too Human took that long to bring out. Ah I remember playing that game, shit was alright until you died. Then that valkarie comes down every single time to revive you. I just couldn't do it.

Never finished that game, though it had a nice story behind it. It was crappy though.

Speaking of a crappy game, anyone try Damnation?

Are they referring to a subscription based service?
I'd def. have to say NO unless it became an MMO style shooter in terms of bringing updates, classes, locations, weapons, vehicles, story, groups, to the table.

In comparison to MAG in which they don't charge for the experience of playing online and yet they update it and release DLC. I would not however pay for a subscription based service for that.

There is only so far you can go with a game...

I actually liked playing Sacred, however I disliked the characters. I don't like the way your player character looks, nor do I like the way they pigeon hole you into a particular role.

Other than that I enjoyed the game.

GT5, probably is best served not having DLC, at least for the foreseeable future. Like one of the above posters said the 1 year mark. Honestly for this game and how long of a wait it has been, I'd wager it would be unnecessary to have dlc at all.

I can however see cars being pushed as DLC but that's about it, I mean this game is packed with features. I'm not even a person all into the modding of cars and I know this game is going to own.

Its just ...

not to mention the pride part as some would def. consider themselves better if playing with the weighty feel.

Personally I'd def keep the weighty feel. I suck at online play unless I actually practice and that wouldn't happen unless I had friends to play online with.

But I agree, just have an option so that people can have the style they most enjoy. This creates balance. Even more so people will complain if it has to b...

for this game.

This is a persistent world with evolving characters that I would gladly pay a subscription fee to play. Personally I'm going to get the PC version, as I don't really want to wait to play. I do wish I could get into the Beta however, but I'm patient and it will allow me to focus on other things :D.

Definitely looking forward to this game.

This is not news to me.

With the release of DLC and people sort of letting it slide under the rug, because it didn't effect them this is the result. I remember when MW2 was on here, headlining about charging $15 for maps. Most said if you don't have the money then don't buy, but I'm going to buy.

See that was the problem, people trying to one-up their kinsmen instead of realizing that Activision and I'm sure others will use that very thin...

We as gamers need a dedicated group. Like a panel or something. Yes I know it sounds kind of crazy but I'm looking at long term man. Think about it. It won't be long until were playing games like that movie "Gamer" and do we really want to be shelling out ridiculous amounts of cash for crap.

It starts with DLC. Down loadable content it not bad in and of itself, but when you have to pay $15 for maps when you can buy a full game(ex gamestop) something is wron...

I take a bit of an offense to the Iraq comment.

I've been there before boots on the ground, and even beginning to hint that playing an FPS and having it be even remotely similar to real War is just wrong. Killing someone for real and seeing them not...respawn, vs getting a head shot on a mate in say MW2 and having them respawn is quite a diff. story.

Not that I'm angry or anything and I see what you were going for but perhaps you should choose your wo...

Nothing wrong with being gay.

That being said no I'm not gay, but allow me to explain my reasoning behind my first statement.

In my mind (opinion) I just think its tactically insufficient to walk around like that. Think about it, put yourself in the role of the combatant, fighting for your life, would you really want to walk around like that.

In any fighting game, and for that matter any game with violence, wouldn't you want to be we...

Mortal Kombat...still the same stale game it was when it first came out.
Only fun thing was fighting to do the fatalities at the end.

One thing that irritates me...why would a woman fight in a bikini...I seriously doubt if your fighting for your life, you'd want to have that cumbersome shit on. Jeesh I hate crap like that. Just typical eye candy or something...i'm not sure about you but If I'm in mortal peril the last thing on my mind is trying to look goo...

this was trolling. Actually I kind of agree with him. I'm playing Infamous 1 at this moment, having never played it before until now.

Let me say this first, I've never completed a Sandbox game. the first GTA on ps2 was the closest one. Can't stand AC1 or 2...to much fetching and all that.

I don't like that in Infamous either...seems like to much fetching, or to much helping people that don't matter. Perhaps they could find another element ...

I'm playing the first Infamous...

Honestly I don't see what all the commotion is about. Granted the trailer for I2 was really great.

More so this sandbox style gaming just seems a bit tiresome. Don't even get me started on AC1 and 2...I literally couldn't play more than say 4hrs on either before I sold them. They just seem boring, running around unlocking things just to visit another part of the city. Starts to get repetitive to early.

Def. a day one for me, me and my boy used to play FF11 and talk about it all day at work. I have to let him know about this, but he's married now so I wonder if his wife will let him play another MMO.

Then again I have to talk him out of AION and unto this one...shouldn't be to hard though.

Can't wait!!
