Gears 4 campaign is far from being the best but I still enjoyed going through it with a buddy. But yeah, they really need to do better with Gears 5 story-wise, even if it means swapping the entire cast. They were way too boring compared to the old gang of Marcus/Dom/Baird/Cole. :D
Just like Gears of War 3, 4 has fantastic multiplayer and coop modes. In my eyes Gears should be the flagship Microsoft series since it always seems to get competitive and coop modes right while delivering a great campaign experience. : )
Mobile isn't my favorite gaming platform but would a Bravely Default title be terrible on touch screen? I haven't played the two 3DS titles and although there's nothing like buttons and joysticks, I imagine it wouldn't be too tough to get used to considering it's turn-based... right?
Right? Definitely the most confusing ones have been the 2DS versions. I'd hate to work at a game/electronics store and have to convince customers that it does in fact play 3DS games... but not in 3D lol
It definitely seems like Nintendo gave up on this Holiday season console-wise. As for 3DS, they have Pokemon and Yokai Watch 2 I guess haha. And Mario Party: Star Rush.. *cough* :p I think a Harvest Moon game came out today too?
I don't think they'll release something new but soon we'll see some big discounts. Not sure if at this point it's worth doing big bundles for the Holidays since all hype is on Switch.
Hear hear! Loved growing up in the 90s when Squaresoft kept Final Fantasy games relevant while tossing several surprises our way, like Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG.
It's in the description "Square Enix tease a new mobile Final Fantasy title that may be developed by the director of Chrono Trigger."
But yeah, definitely was hoping for some cool indie title for consoles/PC! However, the last time I was excited about a game helmed by a Chrono Trigger developer, I was left disappointed... *cough Blue Dragon *cough :p

Both great titles with great multiplayer! I feel TLOU multiplayer is especially underrated : )

Definitely recommend The Evil Within! The first 2 chapters are probably the worst but it only gets better and better. : )
