All loading sucks. I have so many great indie and virtual console titles still on my Wii U but just starting that console up feels like a chore. I don't want to wait more than a minute each time I want to sit on the can to play Minish Cap or Super Metroid...
All it did, beside get people excited about a new game, is make you realize how good Epic is at keeping Fortnite alive. Constant updates, crossplay, new modes cycling pretty much daily, cosmetics (I know, eww, but you know you like those new skins and dances), etc.
Ah, yes. Another "Fortnite killer" drops in popularity after people realize it isn't very special, just something new.
Nothing wrong with some competition. Most of the cool Steam loving, Epic hating teens these days were still watching Yo Gabba Gabba when Steam was in its infancy and terrible.

The first FF I cared about since IX. Not a masterpiece, but much better than people give it credit for.
No one cared about sales last generation though. Anywhere I went there were 360s, not PS3s. I didn't even see one until my last year of college and only because we had one in the game lab. Sales or not, there's no denying that Xbox 'won' (hate that phrase) that generation because when people talked about games, it was about Halo and Gears and FIFA/CoD (on xbox), not, what, Uncharted?
But even if it were only about sales, if PS3 caught up it's only becaus...
I remember everyone saying the PS3 was doomed the way the 360 was dominating most of generation, but it caught up. Nintendo, during both the Gamecube and Wii U era, were told they couldn't come back but did with their next console.
tldr; it's the game industry — anything can happen! Even the Stadia might rule the next yeah jk : p
