I was surprised when I found out the guy who voices Bender the robot on Futurama also is the voice of Marcus Fenix in Gears of War.
Pretty good interview, I like Major Nelson. . I notice he takes a shot at VR technology, funny. I don't know if MS are developing any kind of VR, but MS will if sonys VR is a hit. Just look at how companies copy from each other. MS wanted part of the Wii crowd so they created Kinect. Sony has their own camera to compete with Kinect, and have been chasing the quality of Live for a generation. Nintendo is kind of stuck in limbo since the success of the Wii it seems.
Its a shame that people try to down vote you for enjoying your console.bubble+
"He obviously just doesn't think they are *as* human as Phil."
Then you SHOULD see how it could be misconstrued as an insult.
I only clicked on this story out of curiosity. But I believe the comment from Yoshida could be understood both as a compliment or an insult. It just depends on personal opinion of Yoshida. You shouldn't go on some diatribe and attack the people who disagree with you because of it though.
You are right, the actual story has been added to in its N4G description page. Whats up with that VanneDamme? Just report the news, no need to add anything.
The title of this story is Hideo Kojima on 'The Division': It's so good, 'it makes me want to quit my job' Notice how the only words in quotations are "it makes me want to quit my job"? Pretty sneaky headline there Examiner. If you read the story you will see that Kojima was actually talking about the Massive team, not The Division. Not taking anything from The Division, its one of my most anticipated games, but that headline is misleading. It looks like quiet a ...
Im not trying to become a gaming writer you are. If your offended by what Ive conveyed, then you shouldn't open yourself up for scrutiny.Being a game journalist you would need some kind of crediability. You are what most people would describe as a fanboy. Sometimes its hard to tell if you could be a paid schill or not.
That's not how you gain crediability. A good journalist will always just report the news, not add opinion or spin(unless you are Weasel News of course)...
The problem with f2p is a lot of games it actually means pay to win. Or its play the game for a ridiculious amount of time, or spend real money to advance faster. Paying is always advantageous over not paying. I think that calling a game f2p, then using those tactics means the game isn't really free to play, its free to tinker with but to make any real progress you have to pay.
The first games using DX12 are supposed to show up holiday 2015. So I would imagine 1st party and some 3rd parties are already developing with DX12.

I agree Dragon Knight can always be seen trolling X1 articles trying to get people to see through his biased view then attacking the people who disagree. He cant even be trusted to provide unbiased information, why anyone but another group of fanboys would offer him job is beyond me. I think hes let the disagree/agree buttons and his padded bubbles by sony fanboys goto his head. DragonKnight a web writer, that's a recipe for a site that caters to fanboys and drama. There are already enoug...
This author makes a good point about the differences in story execution for GTAIV and GTAV.
I can remember playing the original Zelda with my cousin.We drew maps for the dungeons and everything. I can remember the first Metal Gear and how inventive the gameplay was. I remember trying to lay out of school so I could play the original Super Mario Bros. I remember loving Destruction Derby 2 on the ps2, and having tournaments at my house playing Tekken and Mortal Kombat 3. I remember Halo and how cool it was that one person could drive a Warthog while the other player played gunner. Of ...
The video doesn't seem to work for me.
I think MS is just experimenting with different uses for the cloud that apply to gaming. Of course there are limitations to what this technology can do. But I think to dismiss the cloud as something that will not provide benefits to gaming is premature. For all we know the cloud could have contributed to Forza 5 running at 1080p 60fps. Either way Im sure it didn't hurt.
Looking at the size of Azure, I expect we ...
@Kingthrash
I disagree, I think its great that MS are keeping in touch with their fanbase. It keeps things like the DRM fiasco from happening again. There has been a lot of news come out of GDC & BUILD. MS introduced DX12 for both X1 and pc. I don't see what the problem is. If you are so tired of hearing about it, try not going into stories about it.
DX12 will be holiday of 2015, trying to pretend that MS is blowing smoke up your ass wont keep DX12 from being...
Their engineers use what is given to them to the best of their ability. They know ahead of time what they have to work with, they spend on average 2 years developing a game as well. I would rather know a dev used 100% of the resources afforded to them than not. If a dev says so and so "game x here uses 50% percent of the hardwares capability". It makes me wonder about their talent as a dev. Indies aside, a AAA dev should be squeezing all they can out of these machines from the begin...
@MeLoveRamen
Thats a good question. Dedicated servers for the X1 could be a reason to choose it instead of the ps4. To me that's more important than resolution.
Thing is so far we haven't seen a 3rd party using dedicated servers for one and P2P on the other, to my knowledge anyway. EA supplies their own crappy servers. And Activision supplied their version of dedicated servers for COD.
@HeWhoWalks
The X1 executes its social features better than the ps4, I wouldn't expect anything else from a software company . Yes, you have party chat, as well as a Game DVR that rarely works the way it should, and a Twitch app that doesn't compare well without you buying the camera for the ps4.
Regarding online MP, Live will probably end up being better than PSN again this generation. We all now the size of Azure. MS can supply dedicated servers for their ga...
@stuna1
I disagree. I think its a great thing that MS is keeping in touch with their fanbase. They are making sure not to commit another DRM fiasco.
Mostly the reason there are so many stories about MS is because they had a lot new tech to show at BUILD and GDC. DX12 is exciting news for both PC and X1. Its something to look forward to even if the tech doesn't get here til 2015. They have stated that DX12 will improve the X1. How much is still up in the air, but ...
@Lukas Japnonicus
I have never stated that I though DX12 would double the X1s performance, please feel free to review my comment history. I said its hard not be excited for the X1 & DX12 when you look at how well the visuals are for Ryse. Apparently, you have a problem with that. I don't appreciate you personal attacking me, you need to grow up.
Same here but Im on the X1. Second Assault and China Rising I have no problems with, but Naval Strike is laggy. Its been a disaster for BF4 since it launched. The vanilla game had online problems in the beginning now we are dealing with the DLC. EA servers are terrible.
