I went through 4 ps2's and sony never acknowledged that there were problems with the system. Never received a replacement and had to buy all four, or send sony $120 to fix my system. The real test will be if they acknowledge the issues with the ps4 and try to make it right with their fanbase, like MS did with the 360. They have gotten away with shoddy systems for 2 generations in a row. I have no confidence that they will take the blame this gen.

This article is flat wrong. The contract stipulates that games must be the same as other platforms. Meaning it must have the same features, not that it must be the same graphically.

7.5-8 hours is the norm for a hack n slash game SP. You are purposefully ignoring the fact that the game has multiplayer. With 700 unlocks in MP, not including unlockable executions, how long do you think the game will last? I expect to get a good 35-40 hours out of the game. 2 playthroughs, one on normal one on hard for the achievements, then add MP and you have plenty of game hours.
It says right on the X1 box that a broadband connection is required. So if someone without broadband buys an X1 its their own fault for not researching the product they just dropped $500 on.

I really don't see whats so confusing about cloud computing v/s Gaikai. Cloud computing is self explanatory and Gaikai is a streaming service. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what the differences between the two are.

I have no issues with the ps4. I am satisfied with what the X1 is capable of graphically. If the X1 can produce games with the graphical prowess of Ryse, then Im satisfied. If you ask me, dedicated servers should be on the list. The use of dedicated servers cut out server side cheating, host migration, most lag, and allows for higher player counts if the dev chooses. Dedicated servers is a big reason I am going with the X1.
I think mobile games like Angry Birds are more of an anomaly than anything. Most mobile games don't see a fraction of the success Angry Birds has had.
The days of a console selling at a loss at launch are pretty much over. Only the ps4 will be selling at a loss this coming gen. And that's only $60, it was over $100 for the ps3 and 360 last gen. Either way its obvious there are some issues with the ps4. Its no fun getting something you have been waiting for only to have it be broken.
