No, these games look great, and are better than Hellblade 2. The graphics are not nearly as detailed as HB though. Now that I am further in, all I can say is wow! The lighting in HB is outstanding.

It doesn't just look good. It has the best graphics, in any game to date. I wish my PC could run this on max settings. That would be amazing! I have been playing on Series X.
All that said, I am only 45 minutes in. It starts off SLOW. So far gameplay is just okay. I hope it picks up now. It feels like it's going to. The beginning reminded me of the opening of Red Dead 2. Walking through that snow was tedious.
If you like Super Massive games, you would like this more. Death Straining? Come on now! The whole balance while carrying?!? Annoying. Also, Hellblade 2 is the best looking game I've ever played. It's far from perfect. I'd say 7/10. The graphics are amazing. I'd give Death Straining the same score.
That could be achieved now, if resolution were scaled back.

I am hoping the psychosis they are adding to the game will be similar to Eternal Darkness. The first game was good. Hopefully they have just expanded upon the OG

I wouldn't play this on Switch, unless it can run at 60fps on it. I don't see that happening. Hope I'm wrong.
Flight Simulator 2024 comes out this year. I can't wait. Hellblade 2 looks fantastic, but I know it's going to be a once and done game for me. I doubt I'd play through a second time.

Death Straining is an absolutely beautiful game. I just didn't like the gameplay.
Rented? Been playing it since early release. It's still available on GP. It's been years now.
I personally don't like the game, but apparently people want to play it. Also, I think it's hilarious that PlayStation fanboys are buying a game that's been on GP for years. Apparently they don't use GP. Sea of Thieves has also been available on PC.
I bought Ori for Switch because it's on GP and wanted to be able to play it on the go. That being said, at 120fps and 4K on Series X, that is the way to play.
Dead Island 2 just came to GP. Such a fun game.
