Quite of few reviews say similar things. I personally think this is going to be one of those games you are going to love or hate.
My main complaint is the lack of PS5 base and Series X videos. I could go the PC route, but would rather play on Console. It's my primary gaming setup. I have read the specs, for both PS5 and Series X, but no videos? The one I did see looked like a huge step down from PC.
People accused Microsoft of selling out when the started doing that years ago. I play on all platforms, so I am good. Also Sony just said they are going to stop developing for PC. Maybe because of Microsofts next console. Just a guess though.
I haven't played 2, and I know a LOT of people really liked the first ( I didn't like it) I think the 2nd too. I don't have a 5 Pro, but may at some point might give this a try on PC. The graphics on 4 Pro were AMAZING! I bet 5 Pro will get a patch though. I am sure it's capable! I just hope the 2nd is more my speed. I'm going to have to check out the reviews again.
Wow, well I haven't played it or watched a bunch of videos, because I don't want to ruin the game. Horror games I want all surprises and scares intact! 6.5 seems pretty harsh compared to other very reputable reviewers. Definitely going to play it at some point.
Same here! Honestly, I usually played my OLED Switch on my TV even though the screen was great, and definitely my OG Switch. Not just for performance, but I prefer a big screen. The Switch 2 screen, admittedly not as pretty as the OLED hits the sweet spot for me. Size does matter. It's more immersive, and looks great when you properly adjust the brightness and, HDR which sometimes is better off. Oh, and I don't use auto brightness. I am very happy with the new update!
It is the same price as other AAA games! If you don't like it sell your copy. People will buy it! Sold out in most places. Also, maybe it's just you! It's a fantastic game!

If Xbox goes back to exclusive games, I am absolutely in! Also, I don't want 6K games, certainly not 8K. I would rather Next gen focus on native 4K,120 fps, ray tracing without trade offs, Disk drive options, and of course any surprises Sony and Microsoft can come up with

I should just buy a PS5 controller with that layout. I just need to look and see if I can gat Haptic Feedback with an asymmetric controller🤔🤔
I NEED this game! I still haven't bought it yet. I have such a big backlog, and I told myself no new games until I get at least a few under my belt, I already have, including Village! I am thinking about Switch 2 for 9, because it does look fantastic on it, not sure yet. 1 month ish and I will decide. All those already playing it, have a scary good time!
Love this game, and the upgrade is worth it, because it runs at 60fps. The dynamic 4K looks good, hopefully with a patch it will be even better.
My advice is know what you're getting into before buying. It is a huge open world game, and Skells are fantastic, but take time to get one.

I said it last week. I think Nextbox might be upgradable. For gosh sakes, SNES upgraded games with the FX chip, N64 with a Memory expansion, and Sega had all kinds of add-ons for Genesis to upgrade. Look, we get it! You don't like Switch, and certainly doubt you even own one! X is a fantastic game, and the patch locks in 60fps! The graphics are dynamic 4K, and look good! For someone who hasn't even played the Switch 2 games you bash, you always have something negative to say!

When I saw there was a 60fps patch note after buying it for Switch and playing maybe 7 hours, I stopped. I paid for the upgrade, and am glad I did, BUT it does need some work to make it as good as it should be, with paid DLC! Load times are much better on the Switch 2 version! Definitely an improvement over the OG Wii U times and the OG Switch.

So, waiting for console reviews still. Today I read Series X balanced mode is the way to go on that console. If you want the best graphics Quality mode. Performance mode is apparently a hot mess. I know it looks pretty bad from videos and screen captures. That's the mode I wanted to play.
My guess is base PS5 base will be similar, BUT have more stable frame rates in performance mode.
