PC gamers tend to be the older crowd who started gaming in the late 70's, 80's and early 90's. The reason for that is because PC hardware was progressing at double the rate of console hardware. PC's were big and consoles were the niche crowd. Of course console gaming is mainstream and a huge entertainment boon for the industry, but PC gaming will always be a step ahead.

Hell, I got my feet wet playing FPS's on PC and in no way can someone who's pl...

How is that being racist?

it is locked in place by way of a railing system that also requires two pins to hold it in place. You must not have served in the military because all basic trainees are required to have hands-on time with the M203.

I loved MW but I just need a break from that formula for a while. I don't play as competitively as I used to either and that limits my ability to enjoy MW like I did originally. I'll still give the SP a shot.

The industry needs ambitious guys like him to enhance and invigorate the game development. If everyone was dull and lacked the motivation to exceed their own abilities and expectations then we'd have recycled trash all year, every year. Basically, Peter needs to accept modern technological limitations, determine the most important aspects of a game and adhere to developing the core parts of his game without deviating off from the main objectives. Like Kojima, he has to realize that som...

compared to what they'll actually sale within the first month of release. And as soon as the launch goes worldwide ActiBlizz will be swimming even deeper in the money and lil' Bobby Kotick will become even more arrogant.

Like I said. The people acting like this is awesome are the same guys that get jollies from Hooter's girls and Maxim magazines. Random girls that contribute nothing but get a pass because they're "pretty". I guess I look at this as a waste of time, but that's just me.

This is straight trash. Don't waste your time with this garbage. You can find pretty girls doing nothing but wasting air anywhere. Why mix it up with games? Anyone really believe these females play games? If you do, you're the same guy that believes strippers and Hooter's waitresses are "into" you and really do wanna hang out after work...

Any game is a "noob fest" when it's randoms just playing around. A game only becomes intense and strategic when you actually play with a team, establishing roles and coordinating tactics dependent on map layout and opposition response. That's why a gamer who REALLY cares about strategy must join other serious-minded players and consistently run with them as a team. Otherwise, you end up with Halo Social Slayer, which is fun by the way when you're just ****ing around ...

Nazi is a political party and had nothing to do with the German military, just like the US military is strictly US, not a Democrat or Republican party affiliated military force. And the only true Nazi military forces were the SS. Those were officially appointed soldiers by Hitler. Everyone else was simply conscripts or volunteers from the general populace.

And zombies have always been in RPGs, it's just that every other game has seemed to adopt them into their repert...

asyouburn is right on with that statement. They have talked about the barrier of entry for the general public to get involved in gaming and how the controller was the main reason people were intimidated. If Kinect's purpose is to eliminate that threat and open up gaming to everyone, then why are all the games so similar to Wii party games and simple sports titles?

The truth is that in-depth gaming is only playable with a controller. Maybe in a later date when technol...

I'm cautiously optimistic because the first had a lot of good ideas but was so restricted by its technical flaws. If they can deliver a similar product without the hiccups then I'm on board.

You're not the only one Sky. I sat there from 12:00 till 12:55 trying to get through to the final confirmation page and it just wouldn't get there. Took something like 5+ minutes per page for each load and by that time it was sold out for me as well. Pretty unbelievable that anyone was able to get through that traffic and complete the purchase. To the one's who made it: Congratulations and you suck :)

So you're suggesting that we as players of a shooter on Kinect REMOVE our hands from the controller to gesture the throwing of a grenade instead of pressing a button? Does that make sense to anyone?

Basically everything you suggested can be done quickly and efficiently with a controller without the need to remove my hand from said controller to initiate an in-game action. That's terrible implementation and that's why Microsoft specifically stated to not create...

To me this is no different than Blizzard constantly pushing back "speculative" releases as they insist on the product being as technically sound as possible. It's quality control and business majors know that you never ship a product if it isn't ready. Otherwise you have to worry about negative customer reaction, recall, redesign, implementation of a revised product that costs even more to correct than delaying initial product release. It's smart if they really need t...

It's symbolism. Or a metaphor. Or anything else "artists" like Lady Gaga want to emote that makes their music seem deeper than actual words and sounds. Musicians swear they're "enlightened" and "abstract". Yawn...

Darkstorn. You should rewrite your post. Or at least place a SPOILERS!! heading so that people won't read it accidentally. Just a suggestion.

You're using a metaphor where a Ferrari represents a PC? Don't hold yourself to such high standards. It's a game man, and graphics superiority are subjective anyway. What you might find as superior with your elevated resolutions and increased shader and texture mapping, a console owner might not care at all about any of that.

And I don't think any PC guy is walking around with his chest puffed out and looking down on a console gamer. And if you are? Wel...
