I go where the games that interest me go. That is why over the years I've had a NES, PS1, 2, 3 and X360. But there aren't enough games that can sell me to buying a console that requires me to be always online to play offline games.

As far as competitive multiplayer shooters go, we don't need that many. Just the top 2. Halo for space/arcadey shooter and Battlefield/Bad Company for military shooter.
The rest of the fps games should stick to single player, like FarCry and Half Life.
