Seems 720 won't need always online for gaming, rather Xbox Mini will. Unfortunately this info will be buried by people who would rather focus on Xbox Mini being required to play 360 games.
Also, how did this submission escape the wrath of the mods? Since all vgleaks sourced articles on this subject matter have been so far failed?

Pray-tell, if these rumors are shaky, what makes the negative rumors so solid? And why has this mod decided that vgleaks is not credible today when just 15 hours ago a submission from that site was approved?
Puzzling still, why was a rumor from the same source approved when it stated Durango would be always online and require installs? A submission by the way which spawned tons of duplicate yet approved rumor articles.

Somebody has been reading VGleaks it seems. All that hoopla and it turns out the always online stuff was never for gaming. Also Xbox Mini is intriguing.

On of those sources was VGleaks. And if you read the source you'll see that they are't denying it, they are saying it won't be necessary for local content, i.e offline games
New rumor suggest always online only applies to Xbox Mini. Durango will play games offline, apparently. Vgleaks so not sure.

What I find funnier still is how most people said they'd be happy with 1080p and 60fps come next gen. Then when they find out that a certain games won't support that then suddenly it's okay and unnecessary.
